JETT (Cinemax, New!) - Carla Gugino is attached to star in a new drama for the pay channel about Daisy "Jett" Kowalski, "an intensely practical and self-reliant thief, an unsentimental woman of action. With the birth of her daughter, Jett planned to put her career in crime behind her, only to find herself drawn into doing one last job." Sebastian Gutierrez will write and direct the premiere installment with Gugino, Mark Stern, Stuart Ford and Dana Brunetti also executive producing for Global Road Entertainment. Stacey Levin is a co-executive producer. (Deadline.com)
LAW & ORDER: SVU (NBC) - Fionnula Flanagan, Hal Linden, Anne Archer and Joe Piscopo are all slated to appear in an upcoming episode about Madeline (Flanagan), "an assisted living home patient who lives with Alzheimer's. When she claims to have been raped, her mental state brings her allegation into question. Archer in turn plays a notorious actress connected to the case, while Linden guest-stars as a mysterious man from Madeline's past. Finally, Piscopo plays a Frank Sinatra impersonator who entertains at the assisted living facility." (TVLine.com)
SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE (NBC) - Lorne Michaels has reportedly signed a new multi-year pact to continue with the series through its 50th season. He'll likewise continue to produce for Universal Television on an exclusive basis, currently home to freshman comedy "A.P. Bio" and "Late Night with Seth Meyers." (THR.com)
SEVEN SECONDS (Netflix) - The streaming service has passed on a second season for the Regina King-led drama. "We loved working with Veena Sud, Regina King and the cast and crew of 'Seven Seconds,'" said the company's Cindy Holland. "Together they created a compelling, timely and relevant crime drama. The first season is a complete, stand-alone story that we are proud to feature on Netflix for years to come." (Deadline.com)
