SARAH JEFFERY RETURNS AS AUDREY IN 'DESCENDANTS 3'

- Thomas Doherty and Dylan Playfair Reprise Their Roles as Harry and Gil in the Highly-Anticipated Trequel -

Beautiful and prim Audrey, the daughter of Princess Aurora ("Sleeping Beauty"), is back and actress Sarah Jeffery is set to once again play her in "Descendants 3," the highly-anticipated third movie in a trilogy about the teenage sons and daughters of Disney's most infamous villains. "Descendants" (2015) and "Descendants 2" (2017) were each the #1 cable movie for the respective years among Kids 6-11 and Tweens 9-14, and both rank among Disney Channel's Top 10 original movies of all time. "Descendants 2" premiered two years after "Descendants" and was the highest-rated telecast across all cable television among Kids 6-11 since the first movie.

Directed by Emmy(R) and DGA Award-winning Kenny Ortega, "Descendants 3," a Disney Channel Original Movie, begins production next month for a 2019 premiere.

Ms. Jeffery originated the role of Audrey - a fan favorite - in "Descendants" (2015); the character is referenced in the sequel (2017), although she does not appear. Jeffery, a native of Vancouver, British Columbia, starred in "Descendants" and then went on to star in the NBC drama "Shades of Blue," FOX's "Wayward Pines," the direct-to DVD movie "Daphne and Velma" and The CW Network's pilot "Charmed."

The "Descendants 3" cast also includes actors Thomas Doherty and Dylan Playfair reprising their roles as Harry and Gil, each members of Uma's pirate crew, joining Dove Cameron as Mal, Cameron Boyce as Carlos, Sofia Carson as Evie, Booboo Stewart as Jay, Mitchell Hope as King Ben and China Anne McClain as Uma.

"Descendants" has impressive franchise extensions that have engaged kids worldwide. "Descendants" and "Descendants 2" music videos have garnered nearly two billion global views and the "Descendants 2" soundtrack was the #1 album on iTunes and in the Top 10 on the Billboard 200 chart. In the U.S., "Descendants 2" costumes were the top-selling Halloween costumes at Disney Stores and the #1 costume at Party City in 2017. More than three million "Descendants" and "Descendants 2" dolls have been sold and nearly five million "Descendants"-related books in print, including three popular young adult novels that were featured on the New York Times Best Sellers List.

The "Descendants 3" screenplay was written by Sara Parriott and Josann McGibbon ("The Starter Wife," "Runaway Bride," "Descendants," "Descendants 2") who, with Kenny Ortega ("Descendants" and its sequel, "High School Musical" trilogy) and Wendy Japhet ("Descendants" and its sequel, "An Education"), are also the movie's executive producers. Kara Saun (both "Descendants" movies, "Project Runway") is the costume designer. Mark Hofeling (both "Descendants" movies, "High School Musical," "ZOMBIES") is the production designer. Shawn Williamson ("Descendants 2," "Adventures in Babysitting") is the producer. Jamal Sims ("Step Up," "Hannah Montana: The Movie") joins Kenny Ortega as choreographer.
