3 BELOW/TROLLHUNTERS (Netflix) - Tatiana Maslany, Diego Luna and Emile Hirsch will lend their voices to the show's upcoming third and final season of "Trollhunters." Maslany and Luna will voice Aja and Krel, "two mysterious new students who unknowingly come to the aid of the Trollhunters team in the fight against Morgana." They'll likewise serve as leads on the "Tales of Arcadia" spin-off series "3 Below." Hirsch then will voice Jim Lake, Jr., taking over for the late Anton Yelchin. (Deadline.com)
FLACK (Pop) - Bradley Whitford has signed onto the Anna Paquin-led drama as Calvin Cooper, "an American movie star living in England working in theatre." (Deadline.com)

LOVECRAFT COUNTRY (HBO) - Jurnee Smollett-Bell has been tapped to star in the upcoming drama, which "follows Atticus Black as he joins up with his friend Letitia (Smollett-Bell) and his Uncle George to embark on a road trip across 1950s Jim Crow America in search of his missing father." Smollett-Bell's Letitia "Leti" Dandridge "hustled her way across the country as an artist protesting for civil rights and now finds herself back home looking to plant some roots." (Deadline.com)
MUSCLE SHOALS (ABC, New!) - Bettina Gilois is spearheading a drama at the Alphabet based on the life of Rick Hall, founder of the famed Muscle Shoals Sound Studio. Muscle Shoals is billed as "the epicenter for recording some of the most iconic songs in history with artists such as Aretha Franklin, Wilson Pickett, Etta James, Percy Sledge, Otis Redding, Clarence Carter, and Arthur Alexander." Global Road Entertainment is behind the project, which is being developed under a straight-to-series model. Infinitum Nihil's Johnny Depp, Christie Dembrowski and Bobby DeLeon; Virgin Produced's Richard Branson, Jason Felts, Justin Berfield and Rene Rigal; City Entertainment's Joshua D. Maurer and Alixandre Witlin; and Greg "Freddy" Camalie, director of the documentary of the same name, also serve as executive producers. (Deadline.com)
