AMAZING STORIES (Apple) - Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz ("Once Upon a Time") have signed on as showrunners of the upcoming reboot. They'll take over for departing executive producers Bryan Fuller and Hart Hanson. Additionally, the duo have signed a new four-year extension to their overall deal with ABC Studios. (Deadline.com)
HAWAII FIVE-0/MACGYVER/MAGNUM PI/SALVATION (CBS) - Peter Lenkov, executive producer on all four series, has signed a new multi-year overall deal with CBS Television Studios. The pact will cover his duties on the series as well as any future development from his 101st Street Entertainment banner. (Deadline.com)
KIDDING (Showtime) - Bernard White is the latest to recur on the Jim Carrey-led comedy as Deirdre's (Catherine Keener) husband. (Deadline.com)
OA, THE (Netflix) - Bria Vinaite has been tapped for a recurring role on the show's sophomore run in a yet-to-be-revealed role. (Deadline.com)
OUTLANDER (Starz) - The show's fourth season, due in November, has added Billy Boyd as Gerald Forbes, Caitlin O'Ryan as Lizzie Wemyss, Natalie Simpson as Phaedre, Tim Downie as Governor William Tryon, and Simona Brown as Gayle. (EW.com)
SCHITT'S CREEK (Pop) - Debmar-Mercury has acquired the syndication rights to the veteran comedy to sell to local stations across the United States. (Deadline.com)
SEAL TEAM (CBS) - John Glenn has been tapped as showrunner for the series' second season. He'll succeed from Benjamin Cavell and Ed Redlich, who are departing the series "as it is making a creative direction adjustment." (Deadline.com)
SINNER, THE (USA) - Elisha Henig has been cast in the show's second season, in which "Harry Ambrose (Bill Pullman) back to his hometown in rural New York to assess an unsettling and heart wrenching crime - parents murdered by their 11-year-old son Julian (Henig), with no apparent motive." Henig's Julian is further billed as "a bright but peculiar young boy on the brink of adolescence who is from a sheltered, unconventional background and is now thrust into the outside world." UNREAL (Lifetime) - The show's upcoming fourth season will reportedly roll out on Hulu instead of its original home at Lifetime. (THR.com)
UNTITLED KAL PENN PROJECT (Amazon, New!) - Kal Penn is set to lead a new docu-series at the streaming service in which "he embarks on an international tour of the global economy, exposing the fascinating, funny and mind-blowing ways that money plays a pivotal role in all of our lives." The Intellectual Property Corporation and Gary Sanchez Productions are behind the project with Will Ferrell, Adam McKay, Kevin Messick, Eli Holzman, Aaron Saidman and Aliyah Silverstein serving as executive producers; Adam Davidson as a co-executive producer; and Penn as a consulting producer.
