9-1-1 (FOX) - Ryan Guzman has joined the cast of the upcoming second season as "a firefighter who joins the firehouse led by Capt. Bobby Nash (Peter Krause)." (Deadline.com)
HOUSE OF THE SPIRITS (Hulu, New!) - FilmNation Entertainment is looking to bring Isabel Allende's critically praised novel - which "brings to life the triumphs and tragedies of three generations of the Trueba family" - to the small screen at the streaming service. Allende will serve as an executive producer while the search is underway for a writer to pen the adaptation. (Deadline.com)
MARVELOUS MRS. MAISEL, THE (Amazon) - Zachary Levi is slated to recur in season two as "an eclectic Manhattan doctor who suddenly starts orbiting the Weissman/Maisel world." (THR.com)
WATCHMEN (HBO) - Regina King, Don Johnson, Tim Blake Nelson, Louis Gossett Jr., Adelaide Clemens and Andrew Howard have all been cast in the pay channel's drama pilot from Damon Lindelof, based on iconic comic series. Details about their roles are being kept under wraps with King reportedly playing Angela Abar; Gossett Jr. as Old Man; Howard as Red Scare; and Clemens as Pirate Jenny. Tom Spezialy and director Nicole Kassell also serve as executive producers for Lindelof's Warner Bros. Television-based White Rabbit banner. (Deadline.com)
