13 REASONS WHY (Netflix) - Co-star Katherine Langford has revealed she will not return for a potential third season of the series, which rolled out its sophomore run last week. (EW.com)
DEADLY CLASS (Syfy) - Mick Betancourt has been tapped as co-showrunner of the upcoming drama. He'll work alongside writers Rick Remender and Miles Orion Feldsott, succeeding Adam Targum, who oversaw the pilot. (Deadline.com)
EXPANSE, THE (Syfy) - Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos announced at the National Space Society's annual International Space Development Conference in Los Angeles this evening that his streaming service has picked up the former Syfy series for a fourth season. Co-star Cas Anvar was among the auspices in attendance, who posted video of said event. (@Casanvar)
RUN (FX, New!) - Andrew Lenchewski is developing a new drama at the cable channel inspired by the political career of retired United States Senator Barbara Boxer. The project, which "centers on a woman launching a highly improbable bid for Congress," is set up at Nina Tassler and Denise DeNovi's PatMa Productions with Chuck Ortner, Boxer herself and her daughter, documentary producer Nicole Boxer, also among the executive producers. TRIAL & ERROR (NBC) - Executive producer Jeff Astrof has signed a new overall deal with Warner Bros. Television. The pact as is custom will cover his duties on the series as well as any future development. (Deadline.com)
