9-1-1 (FOX) - Corinne Massiah and Marcanthonee Reis - who play May and Harry, the children of Athena Grant (Angela Bassett) and Michael Grant (Rockmond Dunbar) - have been upped to series regulars for the show's sophomore run. (Deadline.com)
LIGHT AS A FEATHER (Hulu) - AwesomenessTV has locked in the cast for its 10-episode supernatural thriller: Liana Liberato will play McKenna; with Haley Ramm as Violet; Ajiona Alexus as Candace; Brianne Tju as Alex; Peyton List as Olivia; Dylan Sprayberry as Henry; Jordan Rodrigues as Trey; Brent Rivera as Issac; and Dorian Brown Pham as Deb. The logline is as follows: "An innocent game of "Light as a Feather, Stiff as a Board" goes wrong when the five teen girls who played start dying off in the exact way that was predicted, forcing the survivors to figure out why they're being targeted - and whether the evil force hunting them down is one of their own." (Deadline.com)
RISE AND KILL FIRST (HBO, New!) - Ronen Bergman's book, subtitled "The Secret History of Israel's Targeted Assassinations," is being optioned by the pay channel and Keshet International as a potential English-language limited series that will be shot in Israel. The project is billed as "a definitive history of Israel's covert targeted killing programs of Mossad, Shin Bet and the IDF that have been a staple of Israeli intelligence since the beginning of its statehood in 1948." No other auspices were given. (Deadline.com)
STATION 19 (ABC) - Wendy Calhoun has signed a multi-year overall deal with Warner Bros. Television. The pact calls for her to develop new series projects for the studio. Calhoun most recently served as a consulting producer on the ABC Studios-based "Station 19." (Deadline.com)
V-WARS (Netflix) - Adrian Holmes and Jacky Lai have both signed onto the Ian Somerhalder-led vampire drama. Holmes will play Fayne, "the lynchpin in a horrifying virus with brutal consequences. Fayne's natural charisma, quick thinking, and natural strategic sense lead him to assume a critical role as a leader of the growing "vampire" faction in a struggle that threatens to tear society apart." Lai then will portray Kaylee Vo, "a struggling young online journalist - a would-be Assange who will do or say almost anything to advance her career. A fierce, funny, hustling fringe player, she breaks the biggest story imaginable and soon finds herself a key part of that story with a growing list of deadly enemies." (Deadline.com)
YOUNGER (TV Land) - The cable channel has renewed its flagship series for a sixth season. (@YoungerTV)
