GAME OF THRONES (HBO) - Amazon Studios has signed a first-look deal with the show's co-executive producer Vince Gerardis, who has an "extensive intellectual property library from top science fiction and fantasy authors such as Robert Silverberg, David Brin, Greg Bear and Jack Vance, Larry Niven, Kim Stanley Robinson and Robert Heinlein." (Deadline.com)

Pettyjohn's Clarissa then is "a high school sophomore, church-goer, and aspiring jazz singer, who feels close to all the members of her family regardless of which side of the wall they call home." And Keyvan is Jamaal, "a 16-year-old who recently moved to West Kansas City from Chicago, another country, literally. Clarissa befriends him and the two expand each other's worldview in ways neither thought possible." (Deadline.com)
NOW APOCALYPSE (Starz) - Desmond Chiam is the latest addition to the upcoming comedy as Jethro, "Carly's (Kelli Berglund) boyfriend. He is an actor who is full of himself and believes that his new agey tendencies make him more enlightened." (Deadline.com)
