CROWN, THE (Netflix) - Erin Doherty has been cast as Princess Anne, the daughter of Queen Elizabeth (Olivia Colman) and Prince Philip (Tobias Menzies), in the upcoming season. (THR.com)
DC'S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW (The CW) - Courtney Ford's Nora Darhk is set to become a regular on the series this season. Ford, real-life wife to co-star Brandon Routh, joins the previously announced additions Matt Ryan and Jes Macallan. (Deadline.com)
DYNASTY (The CW) - Nathalie Kelley's Cristal won't be returning to the series for a second season. (Deadline.com)
HAPPY TOGETHER (CBS) - Victor Williams has joined the cast of the freshman comedy as Gerald, "Claire's (Amber Stevens West) father and Peter's (Damon Wayans, Jr.) father-in-law, a former doctor who, with his wife Bonnie (also a former doctor), is fully enjoying retirement." He replaces Tim Meadows from the original pilot, who was in first position to ABC's fellow newcomer "Schooled." (Deadline.com)
KIM POSSIBLE (Disney Channel) - Issac Ryan Brown has scored a role on the franchise's live-action adaptation as "teen computer genius and ace inventor Wade, Kim and Ron's communications guru whose advanced surveillance skills and high-tech inventions help them stay a step ahead of their villainous foes." NCIS (CBS) - Wilmer Valderrama has closed a deal to continue on the series for two more seasons. As part of the pact, Valderrama's WV Entertainment will receive a first-look deal with producer CBS TV Studios. (Deadline.com)
NIGHTBREED (Syfy, New!) - Clive Barker's short-story collection-turned-feature is being developed for television at the cable channel. Josh Stolberg is penning the Universal Cable Productions-based project, which "follows a group of underground half-human/half-monsters seeking to find a new refuge and home after their original hiding place is destroyed." James G. Robinson, David Robinson and Barbara Wall of Morgan Creek Entertainment and Mark Miller of Seraphim Films also serve as executive producers alongside Barker and Stolberg. (Deadline.com)
PROPOSAL, THE (ABC) - The Alphabet has pulled the second planned episode of the series. "An allegation has been made against a contestant on next week's episode of 'The Proposal,'" ABC and Warner Horizon TV said in a joint statement. "While the accusation was not related to the contestant's appearance on the program, we take it very seriously. ABC and the producers of 'The Proposal' are pulling the episode while this matter is under review." (Deadline.com)
SHAMELESS (Showtime) - Dan Lauria and Ashley Romans are both bound for the show's ninth season. He'll play Mo White, "a disgraced ex-Congressman in his 60s with a John Edwards haircut. Frank (William H. Macy) helps him run for office again." And she's set as Alex: "This tough person around 30 years old works at a construction site. Everyone thinks she is a man, but in fact she is a woman." (Deadline.com)
SUPERNATURAL (The CW) - The veteran drama will reportedly only air 20 episodes during the coming season, its lowest order since the writers' strike hobbled season three. (TVLine.com)
