ERASE (USA) - Donald Faison and Eric Nelsen have both scored roles on the Denis Leary/Callie Thorne-led drama pilot as Raffi Dumauge, "Donal's (Leary) ex-partner and closest friend"; and Sean O'Neal, "Donal's son who works as a DJ a couple nights a week, surrounded by booze and blow in a Long Island club, raking in enough cash to put a strut in his step," respectively. (Deadline.com)
FIRST WIVES CLUB, THE (Paramount) - Jill Scott and Michelle Buteau have been tapped for the lead roles on the upcoming film-turned-comedy series, about a group of women who band together after their marriages fall apart, and who find strength in their sisterhood- and of course a little revenge. Scott's Hazel is "a gorgeous music superstar who has faded from the limelight and lost the confidence she once had"; and Buteau's Bree is "an overwhelmed mom and doctor who hasn't let loose in years." (Deadline.com)
LESSER GODS (HBO, New!) - Colleen Scriven's podcast, "set in a future where men and women are no longer able to reproduce," is being developed as a half-hour comedy series at the pay channel. Scriven will write and executive produce the project, in which the "five youngest people on Earth indulge in parties, affairs, rivalries, and fame while contending with the struggle to save the species." (Variety.com)
TOM CLANCY'S JACK RYAN (Amazon) - Michael Kelly has signed onto the show's sophomore run as Mike November, "a smart, seasoned career field officer in the CIA who works with both Jack Ryan and Jim Greer across the new season." (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED MCELHENNEY & ROSELL PROJECT (FOX) - Rob Riggle and Kaitlin Olson are set to star opposite Leah Remini in the off-cycle multi-camera comedy pilot, about Jean (Remini), who "considers herself a patriot who loves her country and firmly believes in everyone's right to be left alone. Jean in many ways fits the stereotype of a typical conservative. However, she leads a very progressive lifestyle as she is now married to a woman, Birdie (Olson). Together they're raising Jean's two boys with the help of the boys' father and Jean's ex-husband, Richie (Riggle), who currently lives in the garage." (Deadline.com)
