AMERICAN HORROR STORY (FX) - The veteran anthology has been given the go-ahead for a 10th season. The show's eighth, "Apocalypse," premieres Wednesday, September 12. (Deadline.com)
CHICAGO FIRE (NBC) - Kristen Gutoskie will recur on the upcoming season as Chloe, "the sweet, fun, spunky, adorable, lovable girl you'd introduce to your mom with full confidence." (Deadline.com)
DEAD TO ME (Netflix) - Linda Cardellini is set to star opposite Christina Applegate in the upcoming comedy as Judy, "an outgoing free spirit who exudes both warmth and pathos as she struggles to deal with a personal tragedy. Judy desperately needs someone to connect with and finds a common ground and support system in Jen (Applegate)." (Deadline.com)
FACTS OF LIFE, THE (New!) - Sony Pictures Television is developing a potential reboot of the 1980s sitcom, about "an all-female boarding school in Peekskill, New York." Iron Ocean Films' and Appian Way's Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Davisson are reportedly in negotiations to produce the project, which is currently searching for a writer. (Deadline.com)
FEUD (FX) - The cable channel has opted to table the proposed second season of the anthology series, about Prince Charles and Princess Diana. "The truth is it came down to Ryan [Murphy]'s decision, and he felt that the material was not as strong as he wanted it to be," John Landgraf told the publication. Nevertheless, other potential installments of the series are being developed by the network. (Deadline.com)
FULLER HOUSE (Netflix) - Josh Peck will reunite with fellow "Grandfathered" alum John Stamos on the show's fourth season as "a father in a hipster Daddy and Me group that Jesse takes baby Pamela to." (TVLine.com)
GUANTANAMO (Showtime) - The pay channel has rescinded its 10-episode series commitment to the series, which focuses on the detainees held in the world's most controversial prison, and those who defend and condemn them. Writer Daniel Voll and director Oliver Stone were behind the project, which was set up in July of 2017. (Deadline.com)
PANTHEON (AMC, New!) - Ken Liu's series of short stories about uploaded intelligence is being developed as a primetime animated drama at the cable channel. Craig Silverstein is spearheading the AMC Studios-based project, which has been given the nod to open a writers' room and produce a five-minute animated presentation for series consideration. SEE (Apple) - Sylvia Hoeks and Archie Madekwe are the latest to board the high-concept drama as Queen Kane, "a spiritual and military political head"; and Kofun, "an intelligent son," respectively. (Deadline.com)
ST. LUKE'S (AMC, New!) - Seth Hoffman has set up a potential drama at the cable channel about 18-year-old Derrick Dunn: "He lives in a one-bedroom apartment with his mother and two brothers. He's a budding basketball star with a seemingly limitless future ahead of him... if no one discovers who he really is." AMC Studios is behind the project, which has opened a writers' room to produce multiple scripts for series consideration. Nellie Reed and Free Association's Channing Tatum, Ezra Edelman, Reid Carolin and Peter Kiernan will also serve as executive producers with Bryan Holdman as a co-executive producer. (Deadline.com)
WILDS, THE (Amazon) - Susanna Fogel (The Spy Who Dumped Me) is set to direct and executive produce the drama pilot, about a group of teenage girls from radically different backgrounds who find themselves stranded on a remote island, unaware that they've just become the subjects of an elaborate social experiment.
