ALL AMERICAN (The CW) - Hunter Clowdus is set to recur on the freshman drama as J.J., "the life of every Beverly High party and a linebacker on Spencer's new team." (Deadline.com)
BEST WISHES (ABC, New!) - Writer/directors David Posamentier and Geoff Moore have sold a new drama to the Alphabet which "tells the story of a pragmatic, once successful man, Nick Day, who thinks the notion of wishes is a waste of time due to a personal tragedy he's recently endured. But just as everything in his life is crumbling around him, things get more complicated when he's approached by a potentially crazy woman claiming to be in the business of granting wishes. And she needs Nick's help." Jon Harmon Feldman and Jennifer Gwartz of Random Hill also executive produce for ABC Studios. (Deadline.com)

MEDICI: MASTERS OF FLORENCE (Netflix) - Francesco Montanari is set to play radical preacher Girolamo Savonarola, "who became leader of Florence after the Medici family's overthrow in 1494," on the third season of the period drama, which has started shooting in Rome. Christian Duguay has been tapped to helm said run, succeeding Jon Cassar from season two (premiering in October). (Variety.com)
MOM (CBS) - Kristen Johnston has booked a three-episode arc on the new season where she'll reprise her role as Tammy Diffendorf, "Bonnie's (Allison Janney) foster sister who landed in prison because she attempted to rob an Outback Steakhouse." (EW.com, 8/26)
RESIDENT, THE (FOX) - Daniella Alonso will recur on the sophomore run as Zoey Barlow, "a strong single mother whose two adopted children both have chronic illnesses. With a firecracker attitude and a warm heart, Zoey is described as the kind of mom who gets down on the floor to play with her kids, and the Chastain Park Memorial team will root for her small, loving family as they battle the unimaginable." SNOWPIERCER (TNT) - Aleks Paunovic has scored a recurring role on the new drama as Bojan Boscovic, "a large, fearsome looking man with frostbite scars and stumped ears. Bojan is a Breachworker, performing one of the most dangerous jobs on the train. He's used to the cold and hazards of the job, comfortable enough to joke about his life being at risk." (Deadline.com)
STAR (FOX) - Chad Michael Murray has been tapped for a recurring role on the upcoming season as Xander McPherson, "an opportunistic real estate investor who is involved in a toxic relationship with Cassie Brown (Brandy Norwood). Xander plays white collar but learned his hustle on the street and knows how to use his charm and power to get what he wants." (Deadline.com)
THIS IS US (NBC) - Lyric Ross - who "plays Deja, the Pearsons' newest addition from the foster care system" - is the latest to be named series regular on the Peacock drama. (Deadline.com)

WARRIORS (ABC, New!) - Writer Michael Narducci and director Regina King are set to team for a new drama which "takes place in a Midwestern community where two friends - a semi-retired NFL player and an idealistic high school principal - will attempt to overcome their conflicting styles of teaching as they mentor a new generation and confront the long buried sins of their past." Stearns Castle's Michael J. McDonald will executive produce alongside Narducci and Royal Ties' King for ABC Studios with former NFL player Wade Davis as a co-executive producer. (Variety.com)
