COUNCIL OF DADS (NBC, New!) - Joan Rater and Tony Phelan have sold a new small screen take on Bruce Feiler's memoir (subtitled "My Daughters, My Illness and the Men Who Could Be Me") to the Peacock, about Scott Perry, "who assembles a unique group of carefully chosen male friends to help his family adjust to a new normal after receiving a potentially terminal diagnosis." The drama is set up at their Universal TV-based Midwest Livestock Productions with Jerry Bruckheimer TV's Jerry Bruckheimer, Jonathan Littman and KristieAnne Reed also executive producing and Feiler and James Oh as producers. The ensemble procedural has the full cooperation of the LA Sheriff's Department." The eOne-based project, which has a penalty attached, will also be executive produced by Cedar Park Entertainment's Chris Long. (Deadline.com)

HER BODY AND OTHER PARTIES (FX, New!) - Gina Welch is developing an anthology series at the cable channel based on Carmen Maria Machado's short story collection billed as "psychologically vivid tales of women's fears and desires on landscapes of horror, fabulism, and wild-haired absurdity."
