CHILLING ADVENTURES OF SABRINA (Netflix) - Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa revealed on social media a special Christmas episode of the series will be released on December 14. (@WriterRAS)
SUPERGIRL (The CW) - Hannah James and Kate Burton have been cast in the series as Nia Nal's (Nicole Maines) older sister Maeve and mother Isabel, respectively. (Deadline.com)
SURVEILLANCE (CBS) - Allen Leech is the latest to be cast in the Sophia Bush-led drama pilot as Mike, "Maddy's (Bush) husband and an accomplished former CIA operative." (Deadline.com)

UNTITLED DAVID SPADE PROJECT (HBO, New!) - Comedian David Spade, writer Diablo Cody and director Jason Reitman are set to team for a potential comedy at the pay channel about Calvin Wash (Spade), "who in the 90s was a semi-famous grunge musician hooked on heroin. Now he's clean, sober and working as a waiter in the Valley. When he meets troubled 20-something actress Bailey, both of their lives change in unexpected and electrifying ways." The project comes from Warner Bros. Television with Vita Vera Films' Cody and Right of Way Films' Reitman executive producing. Spade will receive a producer credit. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED PETER CHIARELLI PROJECT (ABC, New!) - Peter Chiarelli (Crazy Rich Asians) has sold a drama set in the world of fashion to the Alphabet. No other specifics about the project were given. Zac Posen and Mandeville Television's David Hoberman, Laurie Zaks and Todd Lieberman will also executive produce for ABC Studios. (Deadline.com)
VERONICA MARS (Hulu) - Clifton Collins, Jr. and Izabela Vidovic are both bound for the revival series. Collins will play Alonzo, "a mid-level hitman for a Mexican cartel"; with Vidovic as Matty Ross, who "loses the most important person in the world to her in an act of violence, she isn't content to wait for justice."
