BODHI (CBS, New!) - Greg Grunberg is set to star in a supernatural legal drama at the Eye about "a high-powered lawyer who inherits his father's small law firm and discovers not only that his father's clients are ghosts, but that he himself can now see and communicate with them, all of which forces him to pair with his estranged investigator brother (Grunberg) as they resolve cases that will allow the dead to finally rest in peace." Grunberg is co-writing the CBS Television Studios-based project alongside Jonathan Shapiro with both serving as executive producers. (Deadline.com)
BRECKMAN RODEO (Freeform) - David Meunier has been cast in the drama pilot as Chucky, "a man who has devoted his life to the rodeo. He is a former rodeo rider with countless trophies and buckles but his passion and dedication to rodeo has taken a toll on his personal life. He is the father of Brant (Noah Le Gros) and is so proud that his son is about to turn pro. However, he is not pleased when Brant expresses a desire to finish high school before hitting the road." CHARMED (The CW) - Jaime Camil will visit the reboot series as Mr. Morales, a character described as "the brash and eccentric new Music Director of Hilltowne University's a cappella group, The Hilltones." (EW.com)

DEADLY CLASS (Syfy) - David Zayas and Kelcey Mawema will both recur on the upcoming drama as El Alma Del Diablo, "leader of the Mexican cartel [and] Chico's father"; and Gabrielle, "who hits it off with Willie while he's on his shift at the local comic book store," respectively. (Deadline.com)
GATZ (YouTube, New!) - S.C. Sansiveri is developing a new drama at the streaming service "based on the academic theory that F. Scott Fitzgerald was writing about a mixed-race man in Jay Gatsby. The series is a retelling of the tale through that very lens, embracing the cultural aspects of the time during the height of the Harlem Renaissance." Stampede Ventures' Greg Silverman and Paul Shapiro will presumably executive produce alongside Sansiveri. (Deadline.com)
LAST STOP BAY BRIDGE (FOX, New!) - Andy Roth has sold a semi-autobiographical, multi-camera comedy to the network about "eight people of different ages and ethnicities who form friendships, and rivalries, as they commute by the subway from their gentrifying neighborhood in Brooklyn to their respective jobs in Manhattan." Sony Pictures Television is behind the project with Doug Robinson of Doug Robinson Productions also executive producing. (Deadline.com)
PICNIC AT HANGING ROCK (Amazon) - Co-star Natalie Dormer has inked a first-look production deal with Fremantle, the company behind said project. Currently in the works is "Vivling," a potential series based on the life of legendary British actress Vivien Leigh. (Deadline.com)
PREY (CBS, New!) - Ed Decter is spearheading a small screen take on John Sandford's best-selling novels, which "focus on Minneapolis homicide detective Lucas Davenport and his best friend and profiler, psychology professor - and nun - Elle Krueger. The two were brought together by a shared tragedy and now work together to hunt their "prey": the most dangerous criminals in Minnesota." Mark Harmon, Howard Braunstein and Michael Jaffe are also on board to executive produce for CBS Television Studios. Harmon played Lucas Davenport in the TV movie "John Sandford's Certain Prey" for USA in 2011. (THR.com)
PROGENY, THE (The CW, New!) - Chris Roberts has sold a potential drama to the netlet based on Tosca Lee's bestselling book about "a young amnesiac who discovers she's a descendant of history's greatest murderess, plunging her into a deadly underground war as she fights to stop a secret society that has preyed on her kind for centuries." Marlboro Road Gang Productions' Edward Burns and Aaron Lubin and Radar Pictures' Ted Field, Michael Napoliello and Mike Weber are the executive producers with Roberts and Maria Frisk as co-executive producer and producer, respectively, for CBS Television Studios.
