HGTV'S BEN AND ERIN NAPIER REIMAGINE OLD PROPERTIES FOR NEW RESIDENTS IN THIRD SEASON OF 'HOME TOWN'

New York [Dec. 12, 2018] Small town life in Laurel, Mississippi - from the bustling downtown to the idyllic tree-lined streets with beautiful old homes - inspires HGTV home renovation stars Ben and Erin Napier in season three of Home Town. The husband-wife duo use their artistic vision and genuine passion for restoration to turn worn properties into treasured showplaces for families. Home Town, which attracted more than 15 million viewers last season, premieres on Monday, Jan. 14, at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

In each episode, Ben and Erin show clients two outdated houses that could receive a high-end look within their budget. Once the renovations begin, Erin incorporates each family's story into her designs while Ben crafts one-of-a-kind pieces from reclaimed materials found in the homes.

"I think people don't always see the beauty and magic in historic properties," said Ben. "Erin and I want all of the houses in Laurel to shine."

"We add the modern amenities and finishes that families want, but we promise to preserve the really good old stuff that gives the homes so much character," continued Erin.

To kick off the season, the Napiers find a large home for a busy family of five that affords room for a private master retreat and spa-like bathroom. They add a personal touch with Ben's custom wooden bed and Erin's hand-thrown pottery bowl that accents the kitchen's colorful Spanish tile. As the season progresses, the couple creatively reimagines awkward home layouts, repairs rough exteriors and saves original architectural elements. Ben and Erin aren't deterred by challenging projects - even a home purchase and full renovation with a shocking all-in budget of less than $100,000.

Beginning Wednesday, Dec. 26, HGTV's digital platforms - including HGTV.com, Facebook Watch, HGTV's YouTube channel, on demand across all platforms and the HGTV app - also will spotlight Ben and Erin's expertise and fun-loving personalities in two new digital series. In Erin'spired, Erin and her design team share a behind-the-scenes look at their interior design process for each home featured on Home Town. Talkin' Shop features Ben and do-it-yourself expert Jason Pickens in a fun series that brings comic relief to Ben's wood shop. The season three premiere episode of Home Town also will be available on demand across all platforms and on the HGTV app starting that day.

Throughout the season, fans can visit HGTV.com/HomeTown for more exclusive content, including behind-the-scenes videos and photo galleries, and can interact on social media using #HGTVHomeTown.
