AFFAIR, THE (Showtime) - Lyriq Bent has snagged a recurring role on the show's final season as Paul, "the husband of Joanie (Anna Paquin), sports agent and father of their two daughters. He struggles to keep his wife from falling off the cliff of depression, as they get closer and closer to a terrifying inevitability." (Deadline.com)
BEVERLY HILLS, 90210 (New!) - Jennie Garth, Tori Spelling, Jason Priestley, Ian Ziering, Brian Austin Green and Gabrielle Carteris are attached to star in a potential reboot of the former FOX staple. Mike Chessler and Chris Alberghini, who worked on The CW's "90210" revival, are spearheading the project, which is currently being pitched to broadcast and streaming networks. Ghen Maynard will also executive produce for CBS Television Studios. (Deadline.com)

SCARE CLUB (Freeform, New!) - Writer/director Matt Hastings is developing a potential event series at the cable channel about "four twentysomethings from disparate backgrounds who have a monthly book club that meets at the actual location where each book takes place. The friends' personal stories intertwine with the hair-raising novels they are reading." No other details were given. (Deadline.com)
STARGIRL (DC Universe) - Joy Osmanski, Neil Hopkins and Nelson Lee have all been cast in the upcoming drama as Tigress (Paula Brooks), Sportsmaster (Lawrence "Crusher" Crock) and Dragon King, respectively. (@TheDCUniverse)

WHAT/IF (Netflix) - Daniella Pineda is bound for the Renee Zellweger-led drama as Cassidy, "an analytical, conscientious and work-obsessed employee of Bioprint since its inception. As the CFO, she's the left brain to Lisa's (Jane Levy) right brain.
