KOMINSKY METHOD, THE (Netflix) - The streaming service is reportedly in talks with producer Warner Bros. Television to renew the Golden Globe winning comedy series, starring Michael Douglas and Alan Arkin. Said report indicates the main sticking point is the number of episodes. (Deadline.com)
SUPERNATURAL (The CW) - Kurt Fuller will reprise his role as Zachariah on the show's upcoming 300th episode, airing February 7. (Deadline.com)
SURVEILLANCE (CBS) - Nick Blood, Spencer Moss, Tina Huang, Judith Scott, Brian Markinson and Catherine Curtin have all booked roles on the drama pilot, a complex and timely spy thriller centered on the head of communications for the NSA, Maddy (Sophia Bush), a charming operative who finds her loyalties torn between protecting the government's secrets and her own. They'll play Keith Whittier, Alice Yardley, Jahanna Choi, Claire Reynolds, Marvin Miller and Amy Faltin, respectively.
THERAPY DOG (FOX, New!) - Clea DuVall, Jennifer Crittenden and Gabrielle Allan are set to team for a new animated comedy at the network about "a dog named Honey who runs group therapy sessions to help neighborhood animals manage the neuroses brought on by their owners and each other." Merman's Sharon Horgan and Clelia Mountford and Kapital Entertainment's Aaron Kaplan and Dana Honor also serve as executive producers on the project, which has a script plus presentation commitment.
