DISPATCHES FROM ELSEWHERE (AMC) - Richard E. Grant, Sally Field and Eve Lindley have all signed onto the Jason Segel-led anthology series. Grant will play "the charismatic leader of a secret organization; with Field as "a housewife who recently lost her husband of many years"; and Lindley as "a transgender woman who dropped out of grad school and now works as a docent at an art museum." (Deadline.com)
FUTURE MAN (Hulu) - The streaming service has commissioned a third and final season for the comedy series of eight episodes. (Deadline.com)
HIGH FIDELITY (Disney+) - The Zoë Kravitz-led small screen take on Nick Hornby's 1995 novel-turned-2000 feature is relocating to fellow streaming platform Hulu. "Developing High Fidelity with Zoe, Veronica [West], Sarah [Kucserka] and the team at Midnight Radio has been incredibly exciting and we want to ensure they are able to make the show they are envisioning as Disney+ is dedicated to supporting our creative partners," said Agnes Chu, SVP, Content, Disney+. "To that end, as the series' creative evolved, our Disney+ team, collectively with ABC Signature, recognized that the show would be better suited for another platform. Given Disney's equity stake in Hulu, we're happy High Fidelity will continue as part of our extended family." (Deadline.com)
LOVECRAFT COUNTRY (HBO) - Co-executive producers Jonathan I. Kidd and Sonya Winton-Odamtten have signed a one-year overall deal with the pay channel. The pact covers their duties on the series as well as any development. (Deadline.com)
PERFECT HARMONY/WOMAN UP (NBC/ABC) - Director/executive producer Jason Winer has signed a new three-year, eight-figure overall deal with 20th Century Fox Television. The pact extends his decade-long run at the studio, where he'll continue to develop new series projects via his and Jon Radler's Small Dog Picture Company banner, which include the aforementioned pilots. (Deadline.com)
RIGHTEOUS GEMSTONES, THE (HBO) - Marla Maples is bound for Danny McBride's upcoming comedy series in a yet-to-be-revealed role. (Deadline.com)
