AMERICAN HORROR STORY (FX) - Matthew Morrison, Cody Fern, Leslie Grossman, Billie Lourd and John Carroll Lynch are all bound for the franchise's latest installment, "1984." They join the previously announced Emma Roberts, Gus Kenworthy and Angelica Ross. (TVLine.com)
ARROW (The CW) - Katherine McNamara's Mia Smoak is the latest to be named regular on the show's final season. (Deadline.com)
DC'S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW (The CW) - Olivia Swann's Astra will return as a series regular on season five. (EW.com)
FLINTSTONES, THE (New!) - Warner Bros. Animation is in early development on a primetime revival of the animated series with Elizabeth Banks's Brownstone Productions. No details were given. (Variety.com)
MINDY KALING COMING-OF-AGE COMEDY SERIES (Netflix) - Poorna Jagannathan has been cast in the comedy series as Nalini, Devi's (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) mom. (Deadline.com)
ON MY BLOCK (Netflix) - Co-stars Sierra Capri, Jason Genao, Brett Gray and Diego Tinoco are reportedly "at a standstill with Netflix in their salary renegotiation talks, with the two sides very far apart." (Deadline.com)
PAPER GIRLS (Amazon, New!) - Brian K. Vaughan and Cliff Chiang's comics series - which "follows four young girls who, while out delivering papers on the morning after Halloween in 1988, become unwittingly caught in a conflict between warring factions of time-travelers, sending them on an adventure through time that will save the world" - is coming to the small screen at the streaming service. Stephany Folsom is spearheading the adaptation, which has a series commitment. Vaughan and Folsom will also executive produce for Legendary Television, Plan B and Amazon Studios. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED LAST CHANCE U PROJECT (Spectrum, New!) - Courteney Cox is attached to star in a potential series at Spectrum Originals "inspired by the real-life trials and tribulations of Brittany Wagner, played by Cox, the breakout character from the first two seasons of the popular Netflix docuseries Last Chance U." SMAC Productions' Constance Schwartz-Morini and Michael Strahan and Hopper Productions' Cox will also executive produce. No other auspices were given. (Deadline.com)
