100, THE (The CW) - Alaina Huffman has booked a recurring role on the upcoming final season as Nikki: "One of the newly-awakened Eligius IV convicts, Nikki is a bank robber and spree-killer who is both unpredictable and fierce. She will take on an unexpected leadership role, advocating for her people in the complicated new world of Sanctum." (Deadline.com)
ALMOST FAMILY (FOX) - Michael Stahl-David has been tapped for a recurring role on the newcomer as Donovan, "a schoolteacher in New Jersey. Charming and winning but a bit awkward in a dating setting, he is a widower with two sons. He and Julia (Brittany Snow) are similar in age but in very different places in life." (Deadline.com)
AMERICAN CRIME STORY/POSE/Y (FX) - Executive producers Nina Jacobson and Brad Simpson have signed a new four-year overall deal with FX Productions, home to their Color Force banner. (Deadline.com)
BLACK MONDAY (Showtime) - Tuc Watkins has booked a season-long arc on the show's second season as Congressman Harris, "a Republican and leader of the Moral Majority." (Deadline.com)
CARLA (FOX, New!) - Mayim Bialik is attached to star in a domestic take on Miranda Hart's BBC series "Miranda" at the network, about "a 39-year-old woman who struggles every day against society and her mother to prove that you cannot have everything you want - and still be happy. Which is why she spent the money her parents set aside for her wedding to open a Cat Café in Louisville, KY." FOX has given a series commitment to the multi-camera project, which is set up at Warner Bros. Television. Darlene Hunt will pen the project with Sad Clown Productions' Bialik; That's Wonderful Productions' Jim Parsons and Todd Spiewak; BBC Studios' Angie Stephenson; and Hart also serving as executive producers; and Eric Norsoph and Mackenzie Gabriel-Vaught as producers. EMPIRES OF LUXURY (Quibi, New!) - Author Kevin Kwan and documentarian Eddie Schmidt are set to team for a docu-series at the short-form video service which "takes viewers inside the rarefied enclaves of legendary brands and global artisans who have honed their crafts and kept their businesses "all in the family" for generations." Universal Television is behind the project with Kwan and Schmidt executive producing via Eddie Schmidt Productions and Tyserall Park, respectively. (Deadline.com)
ENCORE! (Disney+) - Will Gluck and Richard Schwartz's Olive Bridge Entertainment has signed a two-year overall television deal with Entertainment One. The pact gives the studio exclusive access to all of the company's future output. (Variety.com)
GOOD SAM (CBS, New!) - Katie Wech has sold a new drama to the Eye about "a talented yet stifled surgeon who embraces her leadership role after her renowned and pompous boss falls into a coma. When he awakens and wants to resume surgery, however, it falls to her to supervise this overbearing blowhard who never acknowledged her talents - and also happens to be her father." CBS Television Studios-based Sutton St. Productions is behind the hour with Jennie Snyder Urman and Joanna Klein likewise executive producing. (Deadline.com)
LIKE SON, LIKE FATHER (NBC, New!) - Nick Lehmann has sold a half-hour comedy to the Peacock about Nick, "an out and proud gay man, who finds himself in the unenviable position of assuming the role of his newly outed father's gay mentor and new roommate." The project is set up at Universal Television with Matt Hubbard also executive producing. (Deadline.com)
SCHITT'S CREEK (Pop) - Creator Daniel Levy has signed a three-year overall deal with ABC Studios. There he'll develop new series projects for the company. (Deadline.com)
SEVEN HUSBANDS OF EVELYN HUGO, THE (Freeform, New!) - Taylor Jenkins Reid is developing a small screen take on her novel at the cable channel, about Monique, "a struggling 20-something journalist handpicked by Evelyn Hugo, an iconic starlet from the Golden Age of Hollywood, to write her final tell-all book." Ilene Chaiken and Jennifer Beals will also executive produce for Fox 21 Television Studios. (Deadline.com)
SPOONBENDERS (Showtime, New!) - Stephen Falk has scored a pilot production commitment from the pay channel for a one-hour drama about The Amazing Telemachus Family, "a traveling family magic act - that happened to be made up of people with actual magic powers - and the tragedy that finds them 25 years later, forced to reunite when old debts, long-running grudges, the mob, and the CIA all come looking for them." The project is based on Daryl Gregory's novel of the same name. Berlanti Productions' Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter will also executive produce for Warner Bros. Television. It's understood Paramount Television and Anonymous Content mounted a previous effort to bring the project to the small screen. (Deadline.com)
SUPERGIRL (The CW) - Tom Welling is set to reprise his "Smallville" role of Clark Kent for the show's annual crossover event "Crisis on Infinite Earths." He'll join Tyler Hoechlin and Brandon Routh, who will likewise appear as incarnations of the Superman character. Additionally, Cara Buono and Mitch Pileggi will recur on "Supergirl." The former will play Gamemnae, "an ancient alien, who with others of her kind, have been safeguarding the Earth from the follies of humanity throughout the ages." The latter then is Rama Khan, "an ancient alien who is able to control the four ancient elements - fire, water, earth, and air." (Deadline.com)
WILL & GRACE (NBC) - Billie Lourd will guest on the upcoming final season as Fiona, "Grace Adler's (Debra Messing) niece, the daughter of Grace's older sister (portrayed on the show by Mary McCormack), and granddaughter of Bobbi Adler, the role played by Reynolds on the original series."
