68 WHISKEY (Paramount Network) - Jade Albany will recur on the newcomer as Cassola, "a lieutenant from the Italian army and nurse who speaks with a heavy accent and works hard no matter who her patient may be." (Deadline.com)
90'S POPSTAR (ABC, New!) - Mandy Moore has landed a put pilot commitment from the Alphabet for a new semi-autobiographical drama which "revolves around a family from small town Florida who must adapt to their extraordinary new reality when their teenage daughter goes from aspiring singer to pop superstar practically overnight." Amanda Lasher is penning the hour and will executive produce alongside Moore, director Marc Webb, Isaac Aptaker, Elizabeth Berger, Adam Londy and Regina Lee for 20th Century Fox Television. AMERICAN FIGHTER (The CW, New!) - Tory Walker has sold a new drama to the netlet about JoJo Raines, "who has a dead end life in a dead end town, hanging out with her friends because there's nothing else to do and venting her frustrations with her fists in stupid fights of her own making. Until she gets into it with the wrong people and is assigned community service at the veteran's rehabilitation hospital. There she meets a wounded warrior who teaches her how to hone her aggression in the form of MMA fighting. Through her training, she begins to find a sense of purpose and even a possible future, as long as the rest of the problems in her life, and her own self-destructive behavior, don't take her down first." CBS Television Studios-based Juniper Place Productions is behind the hour with Jeffrey Kramer likewise executive producing. (Deadline.com)
BLACK MONDAY (Showtime) - Dulé Hill and June Diane Raphael have both signed on to recur on the new season. Hill will play Marcus Wainwright III, "President of the African American Scholarship Fund"; with Raphael as Corky Harris, "the wife of ultra-conservative Congressman Harris (guest star Tuc Watkins), leading voice of the moral majority." CARNIVAL ROW (Amazon) - Erik Oleson has come aboard the series' second season as an executive producer and new showrunner. He'll succeed Marc Guggenheim, who will be consulting on the series going forward; and Travis Beacham, who is reportedly exiting over creative differences. (Deadline.com)
CHICAGO FIRE (NBC) - Andy Allo will recur on the veteran drama as Lt. Wendy Seager, "a young and ambitious Office of Fire Investigation officer who crosses paths with Severide." (TVLine.com)
DYNASTY (The CW) - Daniella Alonso's Cristal Jennings, Michael Michele's Dominique Devereaux, Sam Underwood's Adam Carrington, and Adam Huber's Liam Ridley have all been confirmed as regulars on the series, which launched its third season this evening. (Deadline.com)

MASTERS OF THE AIR (Apple TV+, New!) - "Band of Brothers" and "The Pacific" alums Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks are set to re-team for a new World War II limited series at the streaming service based on Donald L. Miller's book, subtitled "America's Bomber Boys Who Fought the Air War Against Nazi Germany." The book "tells the story of the American bomber boys in WWII who brought the war to Hitler's doorstep." John Orloff and Graham Yost are penning the project, which was originally set up at HBO in 2012, with Playtone's Gary Goetzman and Steven Shareshian and Amblin Television's Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey are also among the auspices. WALKER (The CW, New!) - The netlet has landed the proposed Jared Padalecki-led reboot of "Walker, Texas Ranger," about Cordell Walker, "a widower and father of two with his own moral code, who returns home to Austin after being undercover for two years, only to discover there's harder work to be done at home. He'll attempt to reconnect with his children, navigate clashes with his conservative family, and find unexpected common ground with his new partner (one of the first women in Texas Rangers' history), while growing increasingly suspicious about the circumstances surrounding his wife's death." Anna Fricke is penning the CBS Television Studios-based hour and executive producing alongside Padalecki and Rideback's Dan Lin and Lindsey Libertore. (Deadline.com)
