West will play Whitney, "a type-A investment banker who never misses a SoulCycle class and is on track to marry the love of her life - if she can forget the other guy she just woke up with. Webb then is Renee, "a walking firecracker of cynicism and in-your-face realness." In addition, Millicent Shelton will helm the half-hour from a script by Leigh Davenport. Also executive producing for the Lionsgate Television-based SisterLee Productions is Yvette Lee Bowser. (Deadline.com)
TED LASSO (Apple TV+, New!) - A comedy based on Jason Sudeikis's Coach Ted Lasso character from the NBC Sports videos has been given a formal series greenlight by the streaming service. Brendan Hunt co-stars as Coach Beard. The project comes from the Warner Bros. Television-based Doozer Productions with Sudeikis, Lawrence and Jeff Ingold executive producing, Liza Katzer as a co-executive producer and Hunt as a producer. (Deadline.com)

TWO DOLLS, THE (FOX, New!) - Katie Wech has booked her third potential series, this time at FOX. Wonderland Sound & Vision's McG, Mary Viola and Corey Marsh will also executive produce. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED SURGEONS PROJECT (Netflix, New!) - The streaming service has commissioned a four-part documentary series from BBC Studios Science Unit "exploring what it takes to become one of the world's leading surgeons."
