By The Futon Critic Staff (TFC)

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- The latest development news, culled from recent wire reports:

Looking to keep track of all the various projects in development? Click here to visit our signature "Devwatch" section. There visitors can view our listings by network, genre, studio and even development stage (ordered to pilot, cast-contingent, script, etc.). It's updated every day!

ALIBI (CBS, New!) - Craig O'Neill is looking to bring David de Lautour and Hannah Marshall's New Zealand series to the U.S. The non-linear effort, penned by said trio and Gareth Williams, is "an investigative drama that drops the audience directly into the interrogation room alongside our homicide detectives, challenging them to discern fact from fiction and ferret out the suspects' lies in a race to solve each episode's crime before time runs out." Jerry Bruckheimer Television's Jerry Bruckheimer, Jonathan Littman and KristieAnne Reed and Zero Gravity's Jack Kingsrud and Mark Williams will also executive produce for CBS Television Studios. (Deadline.com)
ARE WE OK? (ABC, New!) - Megan Gailey and Aaron Burdette are set to team for a single-camera comedy at the Alphabet about "how a Midwestern couple in their 20's manages to stay together after the entire world sees their marriage proposal end in disaster. And on a deeper level, it's about their long, winding journey to figure if they're actually meant to be together." ABC Studios is behind the half-hour with Jamie Tarses likewise executive producing. (Deadline.com)
ARROW (The CW) - Emily Bett Rickards will return as Felicity Smoak for the show's series finale. (@StephenAmell)
FUGITIVE, THE (Quibi) - Tiya Sircar has booked a lead role on the streaming service's reboot series as Pitti, "an ambitious reporter, who will do and say anything to be the first on a story." (Deadline.com)
INBETWEEN, THE (NBC) - The Peacock has canceled its summer entry after one season. (Deadline.com)
INTERCEPTED (Starz) - Heather Zuhlke has been tapped to pen the proposed La La Anthony-led drama, which is based on Alexa Martin's bestselling novel inspired by the eight years she spent as an NFL wife. (Deadline.com)
OUT THE DOOR (CBS, New!) - Evan Katz has booked a new drama at the Eye in which "upon learning that his impending retirement is being pushed off by several years, an apathetic NYPD detective who just wants his pension so he can go off and live the good life decides to do everything in his power to get fired, but his bad behavior only leads to surprising success at solving cases." CBS Television Studios-based Jerry Bruckheimer Television is behind the hour with Jerry Bruckheimer, Jonathan Littman and KristieAnne Reed likewise executive producing. (Deadline.com)
PANIC (Amazon) - Bryce Cass is bound for the upcoming YA drama series as Adam Lyons, "a recently graduated senior. The goofy counterpoint to Tyler in the trinity of Ray's friend group, Adam doesn't take anything particularly seriously - which is why, ironically, he might have a serious shot in the game." (Deadline.com)
PEARSON (USA) - The cable channel has axed the "Suits" spin-off after one season. (Deadline.com)
UNDERGROUND RAILROAD, THE (Amazon) - Jim Klock is slated to recur on Barry Jenkins's upcoming drama as Tom Hardman, "a local official in Indiana." (Deadline.com)
