BEACH WATCH (NBC, New!) - Bridget Kyle and Vicky Luu have sold a single-camera comedy to the network about Hannah, "an aspiring police officer who flunks out of the police academy, joins the Beach Patrol and is partnered with the overbearing and brash Mel, who takes her job way too seriously. Both have to navigate an unlikely partnership while protecting the beach from crime and drunk teens." Spitzer Holding Company's Justin Spitzer will also executive produce for Universal Television. (Deadline.com)
CURS_R (Quibi, New!) - Writer Simon Allen and director Toby Meakins have set up a drama series at the streaming service which "centers on the pursuit of an unclaimed $100,000 prize, for which a broke student decides to play an obscure, 1980s survival computer game." UNTITLED LUCIANO & MATARESE PROJECT (FOX, New!) - Mike Luciano and Phil Matarese have sold an animated comedy to the network about "two identical twin brothers with nothing in common except 100% matching DNA. It explores the ruthless competition, strained friendship and love between them and their families over a lifetime." SideCar's Gail Berman will also executive produce for FOX Entertainment. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED SANGEET PROJECT (Amazon, New!) - Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas have set up an unscripted series at the streaming service inspired by the Indian pre-wedding tradition of the sangeet, "a celebration of the love, marriage, and magic that ensues when friends and family come together through music and dance the evening before the wedding."
