truTV is Going to Be Lit This Summer with the Return of HOT ONES: THE GAME SHOW and TACOMA FD

The mid-season premieres are making for a scorching summer on truTV with your favorite hot-sauce fanatics and firefighters.

First, on Tuesday, July 14, tune in to Hot Ones: The Game Show to see host Sean Evans set eager contestants' mouths on fire with the spiciest hot sauces around for a chance to win $25,000. Then join Chief Terry McConky (Kevin Heffernan) and Captain Eddie Penisi (Steve Lemme) in the firehouse for workplace antics and comradery in Tacoma FD on Thursday, July 23. Stick around to join Kevin and Steve for the return of the series after show Talkoma FD, as they break down the episode and tease what's still to come this season.

Hot Ones: The Game Show - "Dance Moves and Dirty Laundry"

Chaos breaks out when two teams of best friends enter the Pepperdome. Sweat will drip, dance moves will bust out, and one shirt will desperately need dry cleaning, all for the chance to win $25,000.

Tacoma FD - "Fire Choir"

Wolf Boykins (Broken Lizard's Paul Soter) returns to lead the fire station choir, the Ex-SING-guishers. Eddie teases Granny for joining the group but soon finds himself vying for a spot as the lead whistler. Lucy, meanwhile, convinces Chief to let her look for a more female-friendly uniform.

Created by and starring Broken Lizard's Steve Lemme and Kevin Heffernan of the Super Troopers franchise, Tacoma FD is a comedy set in a firehouse in one of America's rainiest cities. Light on blazes that need extinguishing, these firefighters keep themselves entertained with creative competitions, friendly first responder rivalries and no shortage of bizarre emergency calls. Chief Terry McConky (Heffernan) and Captain Eddie Penisi (Lemme) lead the firehouse shenanigans and are joined by an eclectic crew played by Eugene Cordero(Andy), Marcus Henderson (Granny), Gabriel Hogan (Ike) and Hassie Harrison (Lucy). This season, the squad finds themselves fighting fires at a haunted house, trapped in an elevator during the annual Firefighter's Ball, and learning some new dance moves. Tacoma FD currently ranks among the year's top five ad-supported cable comedies while posting rare season-over-season audience growth.
