BAKER AND THE BEAUTY, THE (ABC) - The newcomer has been canceled by the Alphabet after one season. (Variety.com)
BLUFF CITY LAW/INDEBTED/SUNNYSIDE (NBC) - As expected, the network has confirmed all three series will not return for a second season. (Variety.com)
FOR LIFE (ABC) - Executive producer Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson took to social media with the news his series has been renewed for a second season. (@50cent)
HEROIC QUEST OF VALIANT PRINCE IVANDOE, THE (Cartoon Network, New!) - Christian Bøving-Andersen and Eva Lee Wallberg's BAFTA-nominated shorts are slated to be expanded into 20 11-minute episodes by the cable channel: "The Heroic Quest of the Valiant Prince Ivandoe tells the tale of a young buck on the greatest adventure of his life. Ivandoe is the young prince of the forest." Daniel Lennard will also serve as an executive producers on the project, which comes from Denmark's Sun Creature Studio. (Variety.com)
ON THE SPECTRUM (Amazon) - Amazon Studios has ordered the half-hour comedy pilot - about three 20-something roommates on the autism spectrum, striving for the same things that we all desire: to get a job, keep a job, make friends, fall in love, and navigate a world that eludes them - to series. Jason Katims is behind the project, which stars Rick Glassman, Sue Ann Pien, and Albert Rutecki, who each identify as living on the autism spectrum, as well as Sosie Bacon, Chris Pang and Joe Mantegna. Jeni Mulein and Danna Stern also serve as executive producers for True Jack Productions, Universal Television and Israel's yesStudios. (Deadline.com)
WATCHMEN (HBO) - Co-executive producer Carly Wray has closed a reported three-year, seven-figure overall deal with Warner Bros. Television. The pact calls for her to develop new series projects for the studio. (Deadline.com)
