D.A.R.Y.L. (TBS, New!) - Tony Hale is attached to star in a half-hour comedy for the cable channel billed as a follow up to the 1985 feature film of the same name in which "a top-secret, 10-year-old human weapon grew up to be a 44-year-old guy just trying to keep up with a world that he was never designed for." Jody Lambert and Matt Oberg are behind the project, which is set up at Paramount Television Studios. (THR.com)

LANGDON (NBC) - Sumalee Montano, Rick Gonzalez and Beau Knapp have all scored roles on the Dan Brown novel-turned-TV pilot as Sato, "Director of the OS"; Nunez, "a uniformed Capitol policeman"; and Mal'akh, "who takes Langdon on a dangerous and arcane mission," respectively. (Deadline.com)
LIAR'S CLUB (TNT) - Amy Rutberg's drama - which "tells the story of a woman leading two very different lives - one adorned in the trappings of Connecticut country clubs, and the other drenched in the murkiness of the underground gambling circuit in NYC" - remains under consideration at the cable channel. Christopher Silber, Paul Giamatti and Dan Carey will executive produce for CBS Television Studios with Rutberg as a co-executive producer. (THR.com)

Stoller Global Solutions' Nick Stoller is also on board to direct and executive produce for Sony Pictures Television. (THR.com)
VAGRANT QUEEN (Syfy) - The cable channel has axed the comic book-turned-TV series after one season. (THR.com)
