The show centers on a group of diverse underdogs from all different walks of life who compete to be part of a competition reality series that is putting on a modern, hip remake of "Swan Lake." What they lack in the traditional dancer body type, they make up for with their edge, wit and desire to reimagine an iconic story to fit their own mold. THE BIG LEAP takes us on a journey of self-acceptance, body-positivity and empowerment at any age."
BLOOD RELATIVE (FOX) - The network has extended the options for all six of its pilots. Said effort comes from writers Chris Levinson and James Renner, director Phillip Noyce and fellow executive producer Liza Chasin for Paramount Television Studios, Anonymous Content and FOX Entertainment. Melissa Leo (Louise Kelly), Tate Donovan (John Kelly) and Tyrone Marshall (Brick Doughty) star. Its logline is as follows: "Genetic genealogy is the best new tool in crime scene forensics, and nobody knows it like Louise Kelly. Too bad she's impossible to deal with. Its logline is as follows: "THE CLEANING LADY is a darkly aspirational character drama about a whip-smart doctor who comes to the U.S. for a medical treatment to save her ailing son. But when the system fails and pushes her into hiding, she refuses to be beaten down and marginalized. Instead, she becomes a cleaning lady for the mob and starts playing the game by her own rules..."

SACRIFICE (BET+) - The streaming service is considering turning the recent Paula Patton-led movie - a legal thriller that tracks a highly sought after entertainment lawyer as she navigates the nefarious lives of her rich and famous clients - into a TV series. The news comes as the original options on the cast have expired with BET Networks "asking them to extend their contracts for six additional weeks without additional pay." Said report adds that "multiple cast members declined to grant extensions with no compensation." The film also starred Erica Ash, Juan Antonio, V. Bozeman, Altonio Jackson, Nelson Bonilla, Michael Toland, James Trevena Brown, Liliana Montenegro, Marques Houston and Josué Ramon Gutierrez (Deadline.com)

The cast includes Seann William Scott (Father Joe), Chelsea Holmes (Kelly Mallet), Sam Straley (Shrub Mallet), Taylor Ortega (Nadine) and Krystal Smith (Big Mandy). Its logline is as follows: "In this half-hour comedy inspired by the BBC format, a documentary crew goes to a small town to study young adults and their current concerns. Their focus is the daily lives of cousins Kelly and Shrub Mallet and their idiosyncratic surroundings. We follow the cousins as they pursue their dreams, confront challenges, and fight each other for frozen pizza. These two don't have much, but they do have each other."

"The Goonies." Over the course of the season, their passion will inspire a town in desperate need of hope in this love letter to the power of cinema, storytelling, and dreams."
