SPECTRUM ORIGINALS ANNOUNCES FALL 2020 PREMIERES

GABRIELLE UNION AND JESSICA ALBA RETURN FOR SEASON TWO OF THE HIT SERIES, "L.A.'s FINEST" ON WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 9

MARK STRONG-FRONTED EIGHT-PART CRIME DRAMA "TEMPLE" PREMIERES MONDAY, OCTOBER 26

Los Angeles, Calif. (August 13, 2020) - The dynamic duo is back as Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba return for the second season of the Jerry Bruckheimer and Sony Pictures Television-produced series, L.A.'s FINEST on Wednesday, September 9 when all 13 episodes drop On Demand. Next up, from the sunny streets of Los Angeles to deep below the London underground, Spectrum Originals will also debut TEMPLE, a Mark Strong-led eight-part thriller set to premiere Monday, October 26.

"Our strategy at Spectrum Originals has always been to carefully curate quality programming for our audience and serve as an entertainment destination," said Katherine Pope, head of Spectrum Originals. "It's going to be an action-packed fall, as fans and soon-to-be-fans of our flagship series L.A.'s FINEST will be able to binge seasons one and two in their entirety, free and on demand. Then later in the fall we will drop all eight-episodes of the gripping series TEMPLE lead by the wildly talented Mark Strong. "

This fall viewers can catch up on all of Spectrum Originals content including, MANHUNT: DEADLY GAMES the intense anthology series chronicling one of the largest manhunts on U.S. soil; the popular limited series revival, MAD ABOUT YOU; PARADISE LOST a Southern gothic mystery series, starring Josh Hartnett; two seasons of SIDE GAMES (TODO POR EL JUEGO) and the high-octane street racing series, CURFEW. All series are currently available exclusively to Spectrum video subscribers free (and without ads) On Demand.

Additionally, select Spectrum programming is expanding off platform and viewers will be able to catch L.A.'s FINEST season one on FOX as it makes its primetime debut on Monday, Sept. 21 (8:00-9:00 pm ET/PT).

L.A.'s FINEST Season 2 will drop all 13-episodes Wednesday, Sept. 9

From the universe of the Jerry Bruckheimer "Bad Boys" franchise, L.A.'s FINEST Season One took us into the lives of former DEA agent, Syd Burnett (Gabrielle Union), who left her complicated past behind to join the LAPD, and detective Nancy McKenna (Jessica Alba), who juggled her demanding case-load with a rebellious teenage step-daughter. Together they took on the most dangerous criminals in Los Angeles and became a force to be reckoned with - both on the streets and in each other's lives. When Season Two returns, Syd mourns the sudden loss of a friend and struggles to find answers, while McKenna must deal with the aftermath of Izzy's kidnapping and the rift it has left in her marriage. But when a powerful crimewave in Koreatown threatens to destroy the community, Syd, McKenna and the team must find those responsible before it's too late.

The series, which launched on Spectrum Originals in May 2019, earned major street cred as it locked up over 3.4 million viewers to date and has been the #1 viewed series on the Spectrum On Demand platform. "L.A.'s Finest" is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer Television, and 2.0 Entertainment in association with Sony Pictures Television. Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba executive produce alongside Jerry Bruckheimer ("Bad Boys"), Jonathan Littman ("CSI" franchise), KristieAnne Reed ("Lucifer"), Brandon Margolis ("The Blacklist"), Brandon Sonnier ("The Blacklist"), Pam Veasey ("CSI:NY"), Doug Belgrad ("Peter Rabbit"), Jeff Gaspin ("To Tell the Truth"), Jeff Morrone ("Atomic Blonde") and Anton Cropper ("Suits"), who also directed the pilot.

TEMPLE, the eight-part series will drop on Monday, October 26

In this character-driven drama, a brilliant but haunted surgeon, Daniel Milton (Mark Strong), sacrifices everything for love when he opens an illegal medical clinic in the network of tunnels beneath London's Temple subway station. When word of the clinic starts to spread among outcasts and the criminal underworld, Daniel becomes entrenched in dangerous battles between life and death - and one for his very soul.

Mark Strong and Liza Marshall serve as executive producers for Hera Pictures and Gabriel Silver executive produces for Sky. TEMPLE is written and adapted by Mark O'Rowe from the critically acclaimed Norwegian drama series Valkyrien.
