GILLIAN ANDERSON AND JAMIE DORNAN COME TO OVATION TV WITH "THE FALL" STARTING SATURDAY, OCTOBER 10

Arts Network to Air All Three Seasons During Mystery Alley

Los Angeles, CA - August 31, 2020 - Following Australian crime drama The Code and British political thriller Secret State, Ovation TV, America's only arts network, will next air the critically acclaimed series The Fall, starring Gillian Anderson and Jamie Dornan, in its new premier Mystery Alley destination on Saturday nights. Season one will begin airing on Saturday, October 10 at 7pm ET / 4pm PT. Season two will begin airing on Saturday, November 14 at 7pm ET / 4pm PT. Season three will air in Q1 2021.

In her first lead role in an investigative series since The X Files, Gillian Anderson brings the same intelligence and depth of character to her portrayal of Stella Gibson, a successful, highly driven homicide detective. Jamie Dornan (Once Upon A Time, Sofia Coppola's Marie Antoinette) stars as Paul Spector, the ruthless serial predator she seeks. While chillingly hiding behind the façade of loving husband and father, Spector - who is revealed from the outset - is preying on women in and around Belfast. While the police are stalled in their investigation of these yet unconnected murders, Gibson is drafted in to conduct a 28-day review on secondment from London's Metropolitan Police. Almost immediately, Gibson determines these heinous crimes are all linked to the same person.

Episode descriptions are below:

Season One:

Episode 1 "Dark Descent" airs Saturday, October 10 at 7pm ET / 4pm PT

Gillian Anderson stars as DSI Stella Gibson in the first part of this gripping investigative thriller. When a murder in Belfast remains unsolved, Gibson is brought in to catch the killer, played by Jamie Dornan.

Episode 2 "Darkness Visible" airs Saturday, October 17 at 7pm ET / 4pm PT

Gibson (Gillian Anderson)'s worst fears are realized as Spector (Jamie Dornan)'s murder spree in Belfast continues and a reckless decision has Gibson facing some very real consequences.

Episode 3 "Insolence & Wine" airs Saturday, October 24 at 7pm ET / 4pm PT

As Gibson (Gillian Anderson) takes control of the hunt for the serial killer striking against women in Belfast, the realization that his perfect kill is tainted pushes Spector (Jamie Dornan) into looking for his next victim.

Episode 4 "My Adventurous Song" airs Saturday, October 31 at 7pm ET / 4pm PT

When Eastwood (Stuart Graham)'s investigation into Olson (Ben Peel)'s murder throws open some uncomfortable truths for Burns (John Lynch), Gibson (Gillian Anderson) comes under increased pressure in her hunt for Belfast's killer.

Episode 5 "The Vast Abyss" airs Saturday, November 7 at 7pm ET / 4pm PT

The killer's latest attack gives Gibson (Gillian Anderson) renewed impetus and as the net appears to be closing in, Spector (Jamie Dornan) makes a dramatic confession and a decision that binds his fate to Gibson.

Season Two:

Episode 1 airs Saturday, November 14 at 7pm ET / 4pm PT

It has been ten days since Paul Spector (Jamie Dornan) told DSI Stella Gibson (Gillian Anderson) that she would never catch him. As Gibson tries in vain to help Spector's surviving victim to remember the identity of her attacker, Spector is forced to deal with the loose ends that he left behind in Belfast.

Episode 2 airs Saturday, November 21 at 7pm ET / 4pm PT

As Paul Spector (Jamie Dornan) drives Rose Stagg (Valene Kane) away from her home in the middle of the night, he tells her that he knows she went to the police. With Rose missing, the pressure on the police investigation ratchets up even more. Gibson (Gillian Anderson) is forced to face the fact that her words have tipped Spector off about Rose, making her ever more desperate to save Rose and catch the killer.

Episode 3 airs Saturday, November 28 at 7pm ET / 4pm PT

Gibson (Gillian Anderson) orders extensive surveillance on Spector (Jamie Dornan)'s family, but despite the huge police operation, his whereabouts remain unknown. As the search for Rose (Valene Kane) becomes more desperate with every hour, a near-miss between Spector and Gibson makes their hunt personal.

Episode 4 airs Saturday, December 5 at 7pm ET / 4pm PT

Gibson (Gillian Anderson) reports to Burns (John Lynch) that their confrontation may have been witnessed by Paul Spector (Jamie Dornan). She is shocked to discover that he has been paying visits to one of his surviving victims in hospital, but it finally allows Gibson to locate Spector and put him under surveillance.

Episode 5 airs Saturday, December 12 at 7pm ET / 4pm PT

Gibson (Gillian Anderson) wants to make sure that a solid arrest strategy is put in place so that no evidence is lost and they have the best chance at saving Rose (Valene Kane). However, Spector (Jamie Dornan) is unpredictable, and Gibson must act quickly as her plans fall apart in front of her eyes.

Episode 6 airs Saturday, December 19 at 7pm ET / 4pm PT

Gibson (Gillian Anderson)'s investigation leads her to Spector (Jamie Dornan)'s lair, but there is no sign of Rose (Valene Kane). Gibson instructs her team to step up the interviews with Katie (Aisling Franciosi), Sally-Ann (Bronagh Waugh), and Paul Spector. However, it is only when Spector makes a final play to remain in control that Gibson is offered any answers.

Season Three will air in Q1 2021.

All episodes will be available on demand and on the Ovation NOW app.
