New York, NY - June 15, 2021 - Comedy Central announced today that The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, a 2021 Television Academy Honoree, for highlighting "powerful and innovative storytelling to advance social change" will reveal a brand new look and feel beginning on Monday, September 13 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT. Trevor's summer hiatus will commence on Friday, June 18. The show will continue to produce exclusive brand content across its digital, social and podcast platforms the entire summer. The Daily Show has recently been recognized for its efforts with Adweek naming it the "Hottest Show on Social" and also received a record-setting 13 Webby awards this year including @TheDailyShow as a "Webby Winner in Social: Humor" category.

The Daily Social Distancing Show with Trevor Noah was the first late night series to bring their fully remote show to linear television which started on Monday, March 23, 2020. The final remote episode will air this Thursday, June 17.

The Daily Show will continue to engage with its fans by creating an interactive and robust social and digital experience. Throughout the summer, it will feature new and original content from the entire News Team including field packages, sketches and explainers as well as the show's legendary bio films on notable figures, and more. Klepper vs. Trump Supporters is the most-engaging Facebook video from a late night talk show with over 153M views across channels.

In the Awards space, The Daily Show is a 2021 Television Academy Honoree, a first ever win for the late night series. According to The Academy, Trevor and his team "used powerful and innovative storytelling to advance social change" and "elevate complex issues facing society." The show is also a recipient of two 2021 NAACP Image Awards and Trevor is nominated for a 2021 Critics Choice Real TV Awards for Male Star of the Year.
