February 24, 2022 - NBC News anchor Lester Holt sits down with former U.S. Attorney General William Barr in an exclusive primetime interview airing Sunday, March 6 at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT. The hour-long special is Barr's first television interview since resigning as attorney general under the Trump administration.

The first interview highlights will air Thursday, March 3 on NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt at 6:30 p.m. ET/5:30 p.m. CT and Friday, March 4 on TODAY.

Barr will also sit down with anchor Savannah Guthrie for a live exclusive, one-on-one interview on TODAY Monday, March 7. Additionally, Barr will join Meet the Press with Chuck Todd on Sunday, March 13.

Barr's exclusive interviews with NBC News coincide with the release of his upcoming book, One Damn Thing After Another, a candid memoir documenting his tenures as attorney general under former Presidents Donald Trump and George H.W. Bush.
