STARZ ANNOUNCES JOHN CLARENCE STEWART, MIRACLE WATTS AND SHAMIKA COTTON JOIN CAST OF "P-VALLEY" IN RECURRING ROLES

Santa Monica, Calif. - March 15, 2022 - STARZ announced today that John Clarence Stewart ("Luke Cage", "Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist"), newcomer Miracle Watts, and Shamika Cotton ("The Wire", "The Equalizer") will be joining the cast in recurring roles. The network's critically-acclaimed 2020 breakout hit brings The Pynk to perilous new heights while exploring the unprecedented times.

John Clarence Stewart will recur as Big Teak, a recently paroled member of Lil' Murda's gang - the Hurt Village Hustlas - reckoning with life on the outside. While the brothers attempt to bridge the chasm of time, Lil' Murda's growing fame provides unforeseen obstacles.

Miracle Watts will recur as Big Bone, a fighter and a biter with sky-high ambitions. She is a rambunctious new presence at The Pynk blessed with a molasses-thick body, knees of steel, and a tongue more lethal than a draco.

Shamika Cotton will recur as Farrah, a talented artist in an unconventional marriage with Coach, Mercedes' top client. When the two women meet, they strike up an unlikely connection.

Returning cast includes Nicco Annan ("This is Us") as Uncle Clifford, Elarica Johnson (Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince) as Autumn Night, Brandee Evans ("The Bobby Brown Story") as Mercedes, Shannon Thornton ("Power") as Miss Mississippi, J. Alphonse Nicholson ("Chicago P.D.") as Lil' Murda, Parker Sawyers (Southside With You) as Andre, Harriett D. Foy ("Elementary") as Pastor Woodbine, Dan J. Johnson ("Underemployed") as Corbin, Morocco Omari ("Empire") as Big L, Dominic DeVore (The Ride) as Duffy, Tyler Lepley ("The Haves and the Have Nots") as Diamond, Jordan M. Cox ("The Outsider") as Derrick and Skyler Joy (Ma) as Gidget. Recently announced Psalms Salazar (Girl Lost: A Hollywood Thriller) as Whisper and Gail Bean ("Snowfall") as Roulette will join the cast this season.

Based on her play Pussy Valley, creator Katori Hall (The Mountaintop, Tina: The Tina Turner Musical) serves as showrunner and executive producer. Dante Di Loreto also serves as an executive producer on the series. Lionsgate Television produces "P-Valley" for STARZ.
