YOUTUBE AND MARKIPLIER PREMIERE NEW INTERACTIVE SPECIAL "IN SPACE WITH MARKIPLIER"
TUNE IN NOW TO THE THRILLING FIRST-PERSON SPACE NARRATIVE
ONLY ON MARKIPLIER'S YOUTUBE CHANNEL
WHAT: Today, YouTube and star creator Markiplier (32M subscribers) premiered the new interactive series "In Space With Markiplier" on his YouTube channel where viewers are thrown into the captain's seat of a launching spaceship carrying passengers to a new life on a far away planet... what could go wrong?! This epic-intergalactic interactive special is the latest adventure from the creative mind of Markiplier and a follow-up to the successful "A Heist With Markiplier," with an even more ambitious scale full of high stakes twists and turns that could only fit in outer space.
"In Space With Markiplier" is a fully interactive series that puts you into a spaceship as it starts to spin into chaos, but something feels oddly familiar... like you've been there before. Mark acts as the head engineer on the ship and loosely guides you through time, space and misadventures as everyone tries to manage the warp core and get the ship safely back on course. In the vein of "A Heist With Markiplier," viewers have at least two choices at the end of each video leading them down multiple adventures and non-linear paths.
This follows the first hugely successful interactive special, "A Heist With Markiplier," which premiered in 2019 and allowed viewers to control their favorite YouTube Gamer's life-or-death decisions in a classic museum heist. Both the "A Heist With Markiplier" trailer and the premiere trended in the top 5 on the day of launch in 2019 and the show itself has reached over 37M views to date!
"In Space With Markiplier" is produced by Markiplier (Mark Fischbach) and Rooster Teeth Studios. Executive Producers Include Mark Fischbach, Will Hyde, Ben Curtis, Ryan P. Hall, and Jordan Levin.
