AURORA TEAGARDEN MYSTERIES (HMC) - Candace Cameron Bure will not return to the film franchise following her new overall deal with GAC Media. "Crown Media has enjoyed over 10 years of collaboration with Candace," a Hallmark spokesperson told the publication. "We respect her decision and thank her for her many contributions." (Variety.com)
FBI (CBS) - Missy Peregrym took to social media with the news she is going maternity leave as tonight's installment was her last of the season. (@mperegrym)
GOOD FIGHT, THE (Paramount+) - John Slattery is bound for the upcoming sixth season as Lyle Bettencourt, "a brilliant, sophisticated and sensitive physician who helps Diane through a crazy time." (THR.com)
GREY'S ANATOMY (ABC) - Bianca A. Santos and Cedric Sanders will both recur on the current season as "a married couple in a dire medical situation." Sanders is playing Simon Clark: "A devoted husband/ father-to-be, Simon is depleted from a long-term battle with a serious illness. He uses humor to distract himself from how serious his condition really is." And Santos is playing Kristen Clark, "Simon's spouse struggles to remain stress-free for her unborn baby, while trying to support her extremely ill husband." (Variety.com)
MYTHIC QUEST (Apple TV+) - F. Murray Abraham is exiting the series after two seasons. "F. Murray Abraham will not be returning to Season 3 of Mythic Quest," producer Lionsgate said in a statement. "Beyond that we do not comment on maters concerning personnel." (Deadline.com)
NEIGHBORHOOD, THE (CBS) - Former co-producer Don D. Scott has signed a two-year overall deal with CBS Studios. (Deadline.com)
RESIDENT, THE (FOX) - Emily VanCamp will reprise her role of the late Nic Nevin in "four, maybe five" flashback scenes during the upcoming fifth season finale on May 17. (TVLine.com)
SON IN LAW, THE (ABC) - Anupam Kher has been cast in the single-camera comedy pilot, which "follows a salt-of-the-earth man, Jake (Chris Sullivan), who finds himself seeking the approval of his new fiancée Asha's (Reema Sampat) sophisticated parents, including a difficult-to-impress father-in-law." He'll play the aforementioned father-in-law Om Mehta, "the conductor of the New York Philharmonic who lives with his wife Khushi (Meera Simhan) in an 18,000-square-foot Fifth Avenue penthouse and hobnobs with an A-list circle of friends and celebrities." TWISTED METAL (Peacock) - Kitao Sakurai has signed on to executive produce and direct multiple episodes of the video game turned TV series. (Deadline.com)
WILD BABIES (Netflix, New!) - Helena Bonham Carter will narrate a new eight-episode natural history series at the streamer which "will follow 17 wild animal families across 16 countries, with lions, wild dogs, sea otters, orangutans, grizzly bears, elephants, bottlenose dolphins and emperor penguins featuring." Stephen Dunleavy and Charlotte Crosse are executive producing for Humble Bee Films with Beth Brooks as showrunner. (Deadline.com)
