Oxygen's Investigative Series "Exhumed: Killer Revealed" Returns on Sunday, May 8 at 7PM ET/7PM PT

NEW YORK, NY - April 29, 2022 - Oxygen, the network for high quality true crime programming, announces the return of "Exhumed: Killer Revealed" on Sunday, May 8 at 7PM ET/PT. From Executive Producers Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, "Exhumed: Killer Revealed" examines gripping murder cases in which unearthing a victim's body is the key to solving the twisted crimes.

Each episode features a heartbroken family wrestling to make the emotional decision to exhume their loved one which could lead to important new breakthroughs, unexpected plot-twists, and ultimately, justice being served. A team of expert medical examiners break down the new forensic evidence to discover key details in each murder case with one goal in mind, help these grieving families find closure.

The new season will feature 10 episodes. The loglines and airdates for the second season are listed below.

Sunday, May 8 at 7 pm ET/PT - "Murders on the Edge of Town"

A Missouri mother leaves home one night and never returns. When a new medical examiner takes matters into her own hands performing an illegal exhumation, she discovers the forensics may tell a story of not just one, but two murders.

Sunday, May 8 at 8pm ET/PT - "The Body Under the Bulldozer"

When the patriarch of a respected Alabama family is killed in a horrible accident, the autopsy seems to match up with what's on the surface. As a twisted story unfolds around the family and finances, the medical examiner is forced to take a second look.

Sunday, May 15 at 7 pm ET/PT - "Murder in the Details"

A new mother is discovered dead in her apartment. Her death is ruled an accident, but when a new investigator digs deeper into the evidence, only an exhumation can prove the truth is far more disturbing than what meets the eye.

Sunday, May 22 at 7 pm ET/PT - "Forever Young"

A popular teen is found dead in her backyard clutching an empty liquor bottle. When an outside look at the toxicology reveals the alcohol wasn't what killed her, secrets start to spill that someone wanted her out of the picture.

Sunday, May 29 at 7 pm ET/PT - "Burning Obsession"

LaQuinta Smith, a loving mother and friend, is found dead after a house fire. The scene suggests suicide, but when a tip comes in about a possible confession letter in the coffin, investigators need an exhumation to uncover the true killer.

Sunday, June 5 at 7 pm ET/PT - "Twisted Twins"

A rancher in rural South Dakota quietly passes away at home. All signs point to a natural death, until a shocking confession spurs detectives to take a closer look at the autopsy and a bizarre love-triangle involving a troubled set of twin sisters.

Sunday, June 12 at 7 pm ET/PT - "Loved to Death"

Fun-loving Vicki Ross is found dead in her car, wrapped in an electric blanket. Investigators zero in on a suspect by analyzing animal hair found at the scene, but, only an exhumation can prove who killed this vibrant young woman.

Sunday, June 19 at 7 pm ET/PT - "The Black Widow of Pensacola"

An explosive attempted murder of a popular local businessman leads detectives down a twisted path of mysterious deaths. The true identity of the mastermind behind the plan all hinges on what the exhumation reveals.

Sunday, June 26 at 7 pm ET/PT - "Groomed for Murder"

Police respond to a fire at a horse track in upstate New York and are shocked to find a groomer has taken her own life. Years later, another groomer's eerily similar death prompts investigators to request a second autopsy and uncover the truth.

Sunday, June 26 at 8 pm ET/PT - "Unearthing a Killer"

The shocking murder of realtor Virginia "Ginger" Freeman in 1981 seemed doomed to be cold forever. Leads come and go over the next 38 years until new DNA technology unearths a clue that calls for the exhumation of a body... but not Ginger's.

"Exhumed: Killer Revealed" is produced by Milojo Productions with Mark Consuelos, Kelly Ripa and Albert Bianchini serving as executive producers. Carey Zeiser also serving as executive producer and Maria Lane as co-executive producer. Michael Halpern serves as a Producer.
