Prime Video and ONE Championship Announce Full 2022 Schedule for ONE on Prime Video Exclusive Live Martial Arts Events in the U.S. and Canada

Full bout card confirmed for ONE on Prime Video 1: Moraes vs. Johnson II on August 26

LOS ANGELES - July 20, 2022 - Today, Prime Video and ONE Championship officially announced the full ONE on Prime Video 2022 schedule, alongside the first bout card for ONE's exclusive martial arts streaming deal with Prime Video. The announcement was made by Marie Donoghue, vice president of Global Sports at Amazon and Chatri Sityodtong, chairman and CEO of ONE Championship, at a press conference hosted live at The Novo in Downtown Los Angeles.

Prime Video's exclusive streaming of ONE Championship events in U.S. prime time will begin on Friday, August 26 with ONE on Prime Video 1: Moraes vs. Johnson II, which is being held at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. The lead card, featuring MMA atomweights Itsuki Hirata and Lin Hequin, as well Muay Thai catchweights Diandra Martin and Amber Kitchen, will begin at 9:00 p.m. EDT. Ahead of the main card, fans will get to see ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion Nong-O Gaiyanghadao defend his title against Liam Harrison in the co-main event. Beginning at 10:00 p.m. EDT, the main card will showcase a ONE Flyweight World Championship rematch between reigning champ Adriano Moraes and Demetrious Johnson. Prime members in the U.S. and Canada will have full access to this exclusive stream.

"As the new, exclusive home of ONE Championship across the U.S. and Canada, we are thrilled to bring these unique, multidisciplinary events to fans," said Marie Donoghue, vice president of global sports video at Amazon. "Martial arts fans are incredibly passionate and engaged, and we look forward to providing them with the best in combat sports as ONE Championship makes its prime-time debut on Prime Video this fall."

ONE is the world's largest martial arts organization and a top-five global sports property for viewership and engagement. ONE events represent the full spectrum of martial arts, with world-class athletes representing over 80 countries competing across MMA, Muay Thai, kickboxing, submission grappling, and other disciplines.

"We are incredibly excited to kick off our new relationship with Prime Video on August 26 and announce the full 2022 event schedule! The first time that Adriano Moraes and Demetrious Johnson met inside The Circle, no fans were allowed in the arena due to COVID-19. This time, the fight will be in a packed arena with millions watching around the world, and there could not be a better way to launch our U.S. prime-time events," said ONE chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong. "We know that ONE brings an incredible and unique experience for fight fans; something completely different from what American audiences have seen before. We are excited to celebrate the wide range of martial arts disciplines and showcase the world's best competitors on Prime Video."
