David Muir and Robin Roberts Anchor Live From London Friday Beginning on 'Good Morning America' and Continuing With Muir on 'World News Tonight

Tonight, ABC News Presents Two Specials: 'Queen Elizabeth II: The Legacy, The Life' Anchored by George Stephanopoulos (8:00-9:00 p.m. EDT) and 'Queen Elizabeth II: A Royal Life - A Special Edition of 20/20' (9:00-11:00 p.m. EDT)

On Friday, Sept. 9, Muir Anchors Live, Two-Hour Primetime Special (9:00-11:00 p.m. EDT)

ABC News presents special coverage celebrating the life and legacy of Queen Elizabeth II, who passed away earlier today at age 96. "World News Tonight" anchor David Muir and "Good Morning America" co-anchor Robin Roberts will anchor live from London Friday, Sept. 9, beginning on "Good Morning America" and continuing with Muir on "World News Tonight" with ABC News correspondents and contributors reporting on the ground from London and Scotland.

ABC News will air three primetime specials Thursday, Sept. 8, and Friday, Sept. 9:

· Anchored by "Good Morning America" co-anchor and "This Week" anchor George Stephanopoulos, "Queen Elizabeth II: The Legacy, The Life," a live, one-hour special paying tribute to the monarch, airs Thursday, Sept. 8 (8:00-9:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC and streams next day on Hulu.

· "Queen Elizabeth II: A Royal Life - A Special Edition of 20/20" airs Thursday, Sept. 8 (9:00-11:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC and streams next day on Hulu. The two-hour special takes an in-depth look at her 70-year reign and details how she ascended the throne, her love story with the late Prince Philip, her family and grandchildren, the aftermath following the death of Princess Diana, and her history with the United States and world leaders, with reporting from Muir, senior national affairs correspondent Deborah Roberts and "GMA3" and "20/20" co-anchor Amy Robach. The special features interviews with those who knew and loved her most - Prince William, Prince Harry and some of her other grandchildren.

· Muir will anchor a two-hour, live primetime special from London reporting on the tributes throughout the day and looking ahead to the upcoming celebration of life. The special airs Friday, Sept. 9 (9:00-11:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC and streams next day on Hulu.
