Sneak Peek at the New Season of Global Drag Singing Competition "Queen of the Universe" is Unveiled; Season Two Premieres on Friday, June 2 Exclusively on Paramount+

New York, NY - APRIL 14, 2023 - Tonight, the top four finalists of "RuPaul's Drag Race," Anetra, Luxx Noir London, Mistress Isabelle Brooks, and Sasha Colby left viewers gooped and gagged as they went head-to-head in a series of show stopping performances to original songs in the season 15 finale. After an epic showdown, RuPaul chose Anetra and Sasha Colby as the top two queens, who then battled it out for the crown in an unforgettable lip sync to "Knock On Wood" by Amii Stewart. Sasha Colby was crowned "America's Next Drag Superstar" and awarded $200,000, the highest amount in the herstory of the main franchise and served by Cash App. Season 14's Miss Congeniality, Kornbread The Snack Jeté, passed down the title and a special prize of $10,000 sponsored by Olay Body, to Malaysia Babydoll Foxx. Olay Body also awarded the remaining queens $2,000 each to celebrate a sickening season.

"Sasha Colby is the kind of talent that comes around once in a generation," said seven-time Emmy(R) Award-winning Host and Executive Producer, RuPaul. "She embodies all the qualities of America's Next Drag Superstar and so much more. Anetra, Luxx Noir London and Mistress Isabelle Brooks each put up an incredible fight for the crown, but in the end Sasha proved to be unbeatable. Long may she reign!"

Highlights from the "RuPaul's Drag Race" Season 15 finale included:

· Celebrity guest judge Orville Peck took the stage to sing "Built on Drag" from "Wigloose: The Rusical" with Leland, the resident composer for "RuPaul's Drag Race." The duo were joined by this season's queens who helped deliver a moving rendition of the song.

· Two-time "RuPaul's Drag Race" winner Jinkx Monsoon (season 5 and All Stars season 7) surprised fans with a performance of "When You're Good To Mama" from the long-running Broadway musical "Chicago," in which she made herstory as the first drag queen to play Matron "Mama" Morton.

· RuPaul honored legendary fashion designer Bob Mackie with the first-ever "Giving Us Lifetime Achievement Award" and played a video tribute to celebrate the icon.
