MOTORTREND EXPANDS FAST TV TO THE ROKU CHANNEL

--MotorTrend's FAST TV Channel is Now Available on The Roku Channel, which reaches U.S. Households with an Estimated 100 Million People (Q4 2022)--

(Los Angeles, Calif.) - MotorTrend Group, a Warner Bros. Discovery company, announced that it will bring its MotorTrend FAST TV linear channel, with the world's largest library of premium automotive programming, to The Roku Channel. The Roku Channel's FAST offering is the #1 FAST service by active account reach and streaming hour engagement on the Roku platform in the U.S (Q1 2023)*. The expansion of MotorTrend FAST TV to the service is a significant step in MotorTrend's growth strategy to amplify MotorTrend FAST TV's reach to offer top automotive content to wider audiences than ever before.

"Enabling car fans to watch our most popular shows on The Roku Channel's massive platform marks a monumental step for both our business and our audience," said Alex Wellen, CEO and President, MotorTrend Group. "Since launching seven months ago, we've seen over 10 million hours of ad-supported viewing across five continents, cementing MotorTrend's mission to transform the way car fans connect with their favorite automotive programming."

This marks the second major announcement from Roku and MotorTrend in recent months. The two companies announced in April a groundbreaking co-production for the second season of KEVIN HART'S MUSCLE CAR CREW. The new season of that popular show, created in partnership with Hartbeat Productions, will air on The Roku Channel as a Roku and MotorTrend Original series.

"We're delighted to welcome MotorTrend FAST TV to The Roku Channel," said Jennifer Vaux, Vice President, Content Acquisition & Programming, Roku. "Given the popularity of the automotive content previously distributed with MotorTrend, Roku is thrilled to bring our millions of streamers access to additional premium automotive content."

Additionally, the new FAST distribution deal strengthens the long-standing partnership between MotorTrend Group and Roku, in which 7,000 episodes of MotorTrend content can be viewed ad-free through MotorTrend+ in the Roku platform, and on the MotorTrend channel with a MotorTrend Roku Premium Subscription.

MotorTrend FAST TV streams MotorTrend's most popular shows such as ROADKILL, BITCHIN' RIDES and TEXAS METAL, online without a subscription. Additionally, weekends on MotorTrend FAST TV are for ROADKILL, a truly one-of-a-kind programming block that is dedicated entirely to MotorTrend's #1 digital series and the shows it has inspired. Saturdays and Sundays are for two of MotorTrend's most popular experts, David Freiburger and Mike Finnegan, who specialize in automotive chaos theory - brilliant execution of bad ideas involving all manner of muscle cars, 4x4s and/or hot rods. The weekend also features the popular spinoff FASTER WITH FINNEGAN.

MotorTrend FAST TV is currently also available on platforms including Amazon Freevee, Samsung TV Plus, Vizio WatchFree+, Xumo, and Plex, the latter of which provides international distribution. The FAST channel is also available on MotorTrend.com and MotorTrend+ as an owned and operated channel.

Launched in 2017, The Roku Channel is the home of free and premium entertainment on the Roku platform. In Q4 2022, The Roku Channel reached U.S. households with an estimated 100 million people. The Roku Channel was a top 5 channel on the Roku platform by active account reach and streaming hour engagement in Q1 2023. Today, The Roku Channel features a diverse lineup of more than 80,000 free movies and programs and more than 350 free live linear television channels in the U.S. It licenses and distributes content from more than 250 partners.

More FAST providers will be announced soon.
