50/50 FLIP (A&E) - The series has scored a second season for premiere on Hulu early next year. (Deadline.com)
BIG RV REMIX (Hulu, New!) - Antwan "Big Boi" Patton will lead the cast of a renovation series, which drops on Hulu on July 21: "From trailers and campers to sprinters and school buses - if it has wheels, Big Boi and Janice are ready to make their clients' vehicle renovation dreams come true". Six West Media and Milojo Productions are producing. (Deadline.com)
COLD CASE FILES: DNA SPEAKS (Hulu, New!) - Investigative journalist Bill Kurtis will narrate a new series for the streamer due on August 17: "A premium spinoff of Cold Case Files, the series examines cold cases that are solved through advancements in DNA, along with help from victims' families, law enforcement and the public. Each episode tells the story of how forensic evidence is used to solve murder cases that have remained unsolved for years." Category 6 Media is producing. (Deadline.com)
DADDY ISSUES (FOX, New!) - The network is developing a new animated series billed as "an ensemble buddy comedy inspired by the podcast that follows the true-life experiences of best friends, Joe Buck and Oliver Hudson, as they try to survive the numerous minefields that come with being dads, husbands and best friends." Buck and Hudson will voice characters on the series and executive produce for FOX Entertainment and Bento Box Entertainment alongside Maria Pepin with Margot Carmichael as an executive consultant. DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN (Disney+) - The Marvel Studios series, which shut down on Monday, will remain on pause until the end of the WGA strike. (Deadline.com)
GOTHAM KNIGHTS (The CW) - Co-creator James Stoteraux confirmed on social media the recently canceled series could not find a new home. (@JStoteraux)
KNUCKLES (Paramount+) - Cary Elwes, Stockard Channing, Christopher Lloyd, Paul Scheer and Rob Huebel have all joined the cast of "Sonic the Hedgehog" TV series. No character details however were given. (Deadline.com)
PENGUIN, THE (Max) - The DC Comics series likewise has opted to shut down until the end of the WGA strike. (Deadline.com)
RACHAEL RAY'S REBUILD (Hulu, New!) - Rachael Ray will team with Anthony Carrino on a new reality series for the streamer due later this year: "In Rachael Ray's Rebuild, Rachael Ray teams up with contractor Anthony Carrino (Kitchen Cousins) to help families whose homes have been destroyed by weather events, fires, or other disasters, recover from the tragedies. They will not only be renovating and remodeling but will also help them move forward as they rebuild their lives and create the forever home of their dreams. The series hits close to home for Rachael whose life changed forever when her home and all her belongings were burned to the ground in a fire, inspiring her to rebuild her dream home and realize how important home is to her." Six West Media, Intentional Content and Watch Entertainment are producing. (Deadline.com)
SHERRI (Syndication) - Fernita Wynn has been upped to executive producer and showrunner of the series' second season, due on September 18. Joelle Dawson-Calia is also being promoted to executive producer, while Siobhan Schanda and Dan Fitzpatrick have been named co-executive producers. (Deadline.com)
SUPERMAN & LOIS (The CW) - Dylan Walsh (Sam Lane), Emmanuelle Chriqui (Lana Lane Cushing), Erik Valdez (Kyle Cushing), Inde Navarrette (Sarah Cushing), Wolé Parks (John Henry Irons/Captain Luthor), Tayler Buck (Natalie Irons) and Sofia Hasmik (Chrissy Beppo) are being dropped as series regulars amid budget cuts for its 10-episode fourth season. All are eyed to reprise their roles on a guest starring basis. Tyler Hoechlin, Elizabeth Tulloch, Michael Bishop and Alex Garfin will return full time, as will the newly promoted Michael Cudlitz, who plays Lex Luthor. (Deadline.com)
