Prime Video Announces Stand-Up Comedy Special "Jim Gaffigan: Dark Pale"
Actor and comedian Jim Gaffigan returns to Prime Video with third stand-up special, premiering July 25
LOS ANGELES - June 27, 2023 - Actor, stand-up comedian, and seven-time Grammy nominee Jim Gaffigan returns to Prime Video for his third Amazon Original comedy special, Dark Pale. The highly anticipated special will premiere on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide on July 25, 2023. Dark Pale will be a part of the savings, convenience, and entertainment that Prime members enjoy in a single membership.
Dark Pale marks Jim's 10th comedy special, an unprecedented feat for the comedian, who continues to deliver fresh-yet-edgy material, ranging from funerals and family to balloon rides.
Jim Gaffigan is a seven-time Grammy-nominated comedian, actor, writer, and producer; a two-time New York Times best-selling author; a three-time Emmy winner; a top-touring performer; and a multiplatinum recording artist. He is known around the world for his unique brand of humor, which largely revolves around his observations on life.
Running two successful parallel careers, one as an actor and one as a comedian, Gaffigan can currently be seen as the lead in the sci-fi drama Linoleum and as Mr. Smee in Disney's Peter Pan & Wendy, opposite Jude Law's Captain Hook. Up next, Gaffigan will be seen in the Max limited series Full Circle, from director Steven Soderbergh. He will also co-star alongside Jerry Seinfeld, Melissa McCarthy, James Marsden, and Hugh Grant in Netflix's Unfrosted, and is a co-star in Susie Searches, which premiered at TIFF last year and will premiere in theaters this summer. Gaffigan also recently announced a five-city arena tour with Jerry Seinfeld taking place this fall.
Gaffigan and his wife currently live in Manhattan with their five loud and expensive children.
Jim Gaffigan: Dark Pale is produced by Amazon Studios and Comedy Dynamics. Brian Volk-Weiss, Cisco Henson, Jim Gaffigan, Jeannie Gaffigan, and Alex Murray serve as executive producers.
