Down For Life is a gritty, inner-city drama based on a true story depicting a single dramatic day in the life of a Latina gang leader in South Central Los Angeles

Fuse Media announces it has acquired the exclusive U.S. broadcast and streaming rights for the gripping, critically acclaimed film DOWN FOR LIFE, which will premiere on Latino Vibes on Friday, July 7. DOWN FOR LIFE depicts one fateful day in the life of a 15-year-old Latina gang leader in South Central, Los Angeles who discovers that leaving her gang is more difficult than joining.

Starring Kate Del Castillo, Jessica Romero, Elizabeth Peña, Danny Glover, Laz Alonso, Snoop Dogg and Nicolas Gonzalez, DOWN FOR LIFE was nominated by the U.S. Congressional Hispanic Caucus to be included in the National Film Registry.

"Showcasing an outstanding, yet not readily available, title such as 'Down for Life' to Fuse Media's wider audiences helps fuel our passion for amplifying the underrepresented voices of culturally diverse creators, especially Latino writers, directors, producers, and actors. We look forward to sharing even more of their important works in the future," said Marc Leonard, Head of Content and Marketing.

Latino Vibes, part of Fuse Media's growing suite of internationally distributed DEI-focused FAST channels, is available on Amazon Freevee, the Roku Channel, and Fuse+ for subscribers who sign up for the platform or authenticate through their current TV provider. Usage has more than doubled since launch, with May up +189% vs. December.

Latino Vibes showcases the heart and soul of Latino culture for its viewers to feel seen and celebrated. Launched in 2022, Latino Vibes boasts over 450 hours of programming including programs like Dimelo and The Canvas: Los Angeles, Hip-Hop Houdini and Mario Lopez One-on-One, movies like Exposed and The 24 Hour Woman, and musical featurettes with artists including Jennifer Lopez, Bruno Mars, and Camila Cabello.

DOWN FOR LIFE premieres Friday, July 7 on Latino Vibes.
