Sunday, November 19 marks the return of The Kennedys-After Camelot with Katie Holmes reprising her role as Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and Matthew Perry starring as Ted Kennedy. Both parts of the hit miniseries air back to back starting at 8am ET/ 5am PT on Sunday, November 19 with Part 1 "Family Bonds" followed immediately by Part 2 "New Beginnings" at 10am ET/ 7am PT. The Kennedys-After Camelot is based on the New York Times best seller, "After Camelot: Personal History of the Kennedy Family 1968 to the Present" by best-selling author and biographer J. Randy Taraborrelli. Jon Cassar (The Kennedys) and Katie Holmes directed from scripts by Stephen Kronish (The Kennedys) and Sandra Chwialkowska (Lost Girl). The miniseries covers the years from 1968 to 1999 and uses public events as a background to tell the intimate story of this iconic family as it struggles to come to terms with what Jackie Kennedy Onassis herself called 'the end of Camelot.' The groundbreaking documentary JFK: The Smoking Gun returns on Tuesday, November 21 at 9pm ET/ PT. The two-hour documentary is extensively researched by veteran police detective Colin McLaren and is based on his four-and-a-half-year investigation into JFK's death including inspecting more than 30,000 government documents - totaling millions of pages - from the Warren Commission, FBI files, Dallas Sheriff's Department files, media reports and the Assassination Records Review Board (ARRB) report issued in 1998. Detective McLaren's research marked the first and only time a qualified homicide detective had carefully analyzed the complete catalog of evidence, testimony and witness statements surrounding the JFK assassination using state-of-the-art investigative tools and research methodologies. After reading Bonar Menninger's Mortal Error: The Shot That Killed JFK which details the 25 years of painstaking work done by ballistics expert Howard Donahue, McLaren committed himself to digging even deeper in the case with the discipline of his crime scene investigation experience. McLaren uses gun and bullet evidence and witness testimony from those on the ground as well as those in the presidential and surrounding limos coupled with the 25-year probe by Donahue to provide what is by far the most convincing evidence-based explanation for what happened on November 22, 1963. He managed to solve a crime that is every bit as shocking and incredible today as it was when it happened 60 years ago. McLaren believes he has found the "smoking gun" that killed JFK.
