Survival Game Show 'The Devil's Plan' Renewed for Season 2 After Global Success

The Devil's Plan, a reality series in which players compete in games of wit, strategy, and wisdom, will be back for a second season. In the first season, the 12 contestants hailed from various fields, including a lawyer, doctor, science YouTuber, professional gamer, and actors... Following its release on Netflix, The Devil's Plan shot to the top of Netflix's Top 10 TV series in South Korea. Moreover, it entered the Top 10 list in 23 countries and ranked number 3 in the Top 10 TV Shows (Non-English), captivating global viewers and demonstrating the impact of Korea's survival entertainment game shows.

With two sophisticated games played each day over the seven days the players stayed together, The Devil's Plan presents a seamless universe, marking a pinnacle in producer Jeong Jong-yeon's career. He has already amassed a massive fanbase through his previous shows such as The Genius, The Great Escape, and Girls' High School Mystery Class.

With an intriguing plot development filled with twists and turns, The Devil's Plan captivated viewers and turned them into fervent fans. The participants, each armed with their unique strategies and motives, collaborate or betray each other to win. Furthermore, the players are isolated without access to electronics like smartphones, creating the perfect environment for them to create their own community with evolving relationship dynamics. This setup also serves as a "social experiment" in line with the devilish theme of the series title, resulting in the players exhibiting completely different behaviors which add to the entertainment in unexpected ways.

Fans are eager to find out who the new players for Season 2 will be, and what brilliant games the producer will introduce next. Excited over the renewal of The Devil's Plan, Jeong thanked the global fan base for their passionate support and fueled anticipation for the second season, saying, "Please look forward to a completely new version of The Devil's Plan!"

With Season 2 in production, watch Season 1 of 'The Devil's Plan' only on Netflix.
