Sunny Skies and Bright Smiles: Stop-Motion Series 'Pokémon Concierge' Premieres on December 28
When Pokémon need a break, they head to a peaceful resort to relax, looked after by a team of Pokémon concierges. Debuting globally on Netflix on December 28, new stop-motion animation series Pokémon Concierge follows newcomer Haru, as she learns how to take care of the Pokémon guests.
Along with Psyduck, the delightful trailer teases other beloved Pokémon such as Pikachu, Eevee, Dragonite, and Magikarp. As Haru figures out how to make her guests happy, she ends up discovering a new side to herself.
This groundbreaking series marks the first-ever collaborative production between Netflix and The Pokémon Company, bringing fans an imaginative and ambitious stop-motion project masterfully crafted by the critically acclaimed dwarf studios. Performed by legendary singer Mariya Takeuchi, known for her legacy in City Pop - a Japanese music genre popular in the 1980s - the breezy main theme song, "Have a Good Time Here," celebrates the heartwarming friendship between Haru and her Pokémon guests.
Pokémon Concierge also boasts an all-star voice cast. The English dub version features:
Haru: Karen Fukuhara (The Boy and the Heron)
Alisa: Imani Hakim (Everybody Hates Chris)
Tyler: Josh Keaton (Voltron: Legendary Defender)
Watanabe: Lori Alan (SpongeBob SquarePants)
The Japanese voice actors include:
Haru: Non (In This Corner of the World)
Alisa: Fairouz Ai (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean)
Tyler: Eita Okuno (Yell)
Watanabe: Yoshiko Takemura (TIGER & BUNNY)
