The Cases Are Back! Hallmark Media Greenlights Second Movie of the Popular and Well-Received "The Cases of Mystery Lane!"

Latest Installment in Highly Popular Franchise Set to Start Production in February and Premiere Later this Year

PASADENA, CA - February 6, 2024 - Hallmark Media announced today as part of the TCA Winter Press Tour that Aimee Garcia ("Lucifer") and Paul Campbell ("Three Wise Men and a Baby") will return to star in "The Cases of Mystery Lane: Death is Listening," the second movie in the fan-favorite, "The Cases of Mystery Lane" franchise. The second movie is set to start production this month to premiere later this year.

As Birdie (Garcia) and Alden Case's (Campbell) relationship strengthens, they have come to discover a mutual interest for True Crime. But when their favorite podcast host is found dead in the studio and officer Newton needs helps decoding the eccentric band of suspects, Birdie and Alden may discover this case involves something more sinister than just a killer.

"We are so excited to have the Cases back-in-action on a second movie," said Laura Gaines, Director of Development and Programming, Hallmark Media. "The twists and turns of this investigation will captivate our viewers and keep them guessing to the very end!"

The Cases of Mystery Lane: Death is Listening is from Two 4 The Money Media. Kim Arnott and Kate Gajdosik are executive producers. Mandy Spencer-Phillips produced the movie. Mike Rohl is set to direct the movie based on a script written by Joel Dovev and Margaux Froley, who also created the franchise.
