NETFLIX GREENLIGHTS LEANNE MORGAN SCRIPTED COMEDY FROM CO-CREATOR CHUCK LORRE
Netflix Also Signs Morgan for Two All-New Stand-Up Specials
· Netflix today announced a 16-episode order for an untitled Leanne Morgan scripted, multicam comedy, starring the popular stand-up comedian. The series is created by Morgan, Chuck Lorre and Susan McMartin.
· Additionally, Morgan will do two stand-up specials for Netflix.
· Untitled Leanne Morgan Project Logline: Leanne's life takes an unexpected turn when her husband of 33 years leaves her for another woman. Starting over when you're a grandmother and in menopause isn't exactly what she had in mind, but with the help of her family she will navigate this new chapter with grace, dignity and jello salad.
· This marks Lorre's latest project for Netflix, following the critically-acclaimed and Golden Globe award winning series The Kominsky Method.
