"COBRA KAI" CELEBRATES SEASON SIX PART ONE LAUNCH AND ANNOUNCES NEW DATE FOR PART TWO!

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - On Wednesday, July 17, 2024, Netflix celebrated Part 1 of the sixth and final season of Cobra Kai ahead of its launch on Thursday, July 18. The screening kicked off with an introduction from Executive Producers, Writers and Directors Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg who announced that fans will be getting Part 2 of the final season even sooner when it premieres two weeks earlier globally on Netflix on November 15, 2024.

Said Heald, Hurwitz and Schlossberg "You heard it here first. Send it to the internet. November 15. Same day as Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson. Netflix Fight Night. No undercard. Two main events. Let's do it. "

ABOUT THE SERIES

COBRA KAI takes place over 30 years after the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament with the continuation of the inescapable conflict between Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka). The first five seasons are now streaming with the series set to return for a sixth and final season.

Premiere Dates: July 18 (Part 1), November 15 (Part 2), Part 3 (2025)

Part 1 Synopsis: With Cobra Kai eliminated from the Valley, our senseis and students must decide if and how they will compete in the Sekai Taikai - the world championships of karate.

Producers: Cobra Kai is written and executive produced by Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg via their production company, Counterbalance Entertainment. Will Smith, James Lassiter and Caleeb Pinkett executive produce for Westbrook Studios along with Susan Ekins in association with Sony Pictures Television. Ralph Macchio and William Zabka also serve as executive producers.
